Excellent location right off of Union Square. Convenient to all areas. You have to have a drink and or dinner in the Restaurant on the 36th floor. Views of the bay, Golden gate and the ocean.

The Hyatt staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had ice machines which is not the case in a lot of downtown hotels. You walk out the front door and you can get transportation to any place you want to go in San Francisco.

the hotel room is big in down town. however, the service is bad. no enough facility in the room. nobody answer the phone

Great location for much of the sight seeing. The bedding is excellent and the buffet breakfast an extra bonus. The staff were all helpful and polite.

Have stayed in many Hyatts around the world and this is by far the worst. Staff were rude, lifts were slow, had to pay for regency club perks which are complimentary everywhere else and could not get into breakfast on any of the mornings we stayed at the hotel.

We so enjoyed the Grand Hyatt and would without question stay there again. Everything was so clean and being a clean freak myself that is very important. The beds and bed linens were wonderful. Did not eat at the restaurant as we are uncomfortable being up so high, but the restaurant looked lovely and people seemed to enjoy it.

They gave us a great room with a great view on our wedding day. They also sent us a bottle of wine and a nice deli tray which was really hit the spot.

Hotel was great especially the location.Maid service was good, concierge was very helpful in planning activities.Only negative was having to pay for the coffee in the room. I have never has to pay 4.00 in past - it has always been complementary.
