Delta Banff Royal Canadian Lodge Description

Delta Banff Royal Canadian Lodge is four blocks from downtown Banff, and the Banff National Park Visitors Centre, half a mile from Bow River, and approximately 145km/90 miles west of the Calgary International Airport. This location is also less than a kilometre from the Whyte Museum and Canada Place, three km from Bow Falls, five km from Upper Hot Springs and the Sulpher Mountain Gondola, six km from Mt. Norquay, 17km/11 miles from Sunshine Village, and 64km/40 miles from Yoho National Park.

Lodge amenities include Evergreen Restaurant, featuring an evening bistro-style menu highlighting Canadian cuisine and fine wines. The Grotto Spa provides a hot mineral soaking pool, whirlpool, aromatic steam room, massage, and beauty treatments. During the winter, valet heated parking and a ski bus are offered. Other amenities include the indoor pool, laundry services, and meeting space.

All rooms are non-smoking and feature solid maple furnishings, percale linens, Canadian artwork, refrigerators, coffeemakers, tea kettles, hairdryers, cable TV, pay-per-view movies and Nintendo, high-speed Internet access, irons and ironing boards, safes, and full baths with tubs/showers, dressing areas, and terry bathrobes.

things went bad from check in, we checked in and had to come back to the front desk 4 times to get the keys to work. Everything went fine with dinner and the rest of our stay until check out. Where we had asked for a check out of noon, and confirmed it, than the lady(lou) called up and said "you have to get out of the room or i am charging you an extra night." I tired to explain we hd a late check out but she hung up on me. The bill at check out was all wrong, being double charged for things and just terrible service from the staff at check out
