Catalonia Riviera Maya is an all-inclusive resort located in Puerto Aventuras neighborhood that is situated on a white-sand beach in the heart of the Mayan Riviera. The property is only 20 minutes from Playa del Carmen and is walking distance from the Puerto Aventuras Marina and approximately 50 miles south of Cancun International Airport.

Hotel amenities include private beach, five swimming pools (including kids pool), tennis court, fitness center, Kids' Club for children 4 to 12 years old, concierge, free parking, free bicycle rental for use within Puerto Aventuras, multilingual staff, safe deposit box, 24-hour front desk, gift shop, disco, tour assistance and laundry/valet service. Dining options include El Mercado and La Brisa Buffet restaurants, Alebrijes Mexican specialty Restaurant (reservation required) Bellavista, offering a la carte Italian specialties (reservation required), La Creperie, crepe, milkshake and ice cream parlor and Bamboleo, a daytime snack bar that turns into Grill and Steakhouse for dinner (reservation required) and then transforms into a late night snack bar. The property also has seven bars, including two swim-up bars and a beach bar.

The all-inclusive rate includes all meals and snacks, unlimited domestic alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, non-motorized water sports, activities, bicycle tours, tennis, introductory scuba lesson in pool, fitness center, Kids' Club, nightly entertainment, daily shuttle service to Playa del Carmen and all taxes and gratuities.

The 326 guest rooms are spread out in three and four story buildings and villas across the property. Rooms feature a Mexican-Caribbean design.
