The Gran Ventana Beach Resort is a sleek, spacious, 506-room, all-inclusive resort with an enviable location on the golden sands of Playa Dorada.

All-inclusive means a variety of restaurants, snacks, open-bars (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks), activities, and entertainment are included. Other included facilities are bicycles, non-motorized water sports, tennis, fitness room & sauna, Kid*s Club, beach volleyball, aquaerobics, billards, and nightly entertainment and shows. Activities available that cost extra are outside tours, green fees, and motorized watersports.

The hotel is situated within the Playa Dorada Tourist Complex, the largest and most complete tourist development in Dominican Republic and just a block away from the Playa Dorada Commercial Center, which has the some of the best bars and discos in the Puerto Plata. It is also just 300 yards from the Playa Dorada Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones.

You can dine at any of four restaurants. Cafeteria Las Almejas is the most central restaurant and includes a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables to choose from at all meals. The Club Caracol offers lunch and snacks on the beach. The Octopus Restaurant is a la carte and offers Caribbean fare. The Ocean Grill is an outdoor a la carte restaurant overlooking the beach where you can enjoy grilled meat, fish, and seafood.
