"Great location but......."

The Prescott is a charming boutique hotel which is in a great location close to Union Square. We booked a standard room which was very small and quite dated in its furnishings. There is a musty odour that comes out of the air conditioner so I would suggest just opening the window if you require ventilation !! The staff were polite at times but sometimes didn't even acknowledge you when you came in. The continental breakfast was boring and the staff and service at the restaurant needs to be improved. All in all a nice stay in a great location.

The Hotel its located near the Union square, so really near to down town. The staff its really friendly and helpful. We had a room in the 2th floor, near to the elevators, so quit loud, you can here the elevators going up and down. The room was not really big, the second bed was located behind the 1st main room, so it was a kind of a second room with out door, it was cool. The view was just a wall to the other side, not more. The bathroom was small, two people were no able to stay in there. The biggest shock: car parking fee! They request more then 40$ per night!!! I really dont know if I would recommand this Hotel to a friend, I guess there are better Hotels to a similar price.

I was looking for a nice hotel for myself, my husband, and son. I was thrilled to find a two-room king suite at the Prescott for within my budget, and I was not disappointed. The rooms were sizable, the beds were comfortable, the location of the room made it very quiet, and the perks of being an InTouch member were pleasant -- if quirky. I loved the jetted tub after a long day of walking in the city, and the staff were helpful and attentive.

Perfect location for shopping, sights and restaurants. Good value for San Francisco. Got a deal for US$ 170 per night, including breakfast and Club Level benefits. Rooms are quiet spacious and practical with a lot of place to store your luggage. Friendly and helpful staff. They did lend out city bikes for free. If you get them take a ride over the Golden Gate and down to Sausalito, and take the ferry back.

Understated charm and elegance, superb location. A warm individual charm compared to bigger hotels. Great staff and service and is always a relaxing place to stay. We always upgrade to club level, well worth it.
