"classy and comfortable"

Stayed one night on business and this hotel fit the bill for exactly what I needed. Elegant and comfortable with accommodating and professional service. The public spaces and rooms are tastefully decorated. The low profile (3 stories) of the property underscores the feeling you are not staying in a mammoth-sized convention-hosting hotel complex. It felt quiet and calming to be there. The location is within walking distances from shops and restaurants. The spa looked fantastic. The only reason I do not give this property a 5 rating is the small and minimally equipped work out facility and the tiny bathrooms. Even with that, I will stay here again.

My husband and I have been stayed here every Christmas for at least 4-5 years, we love this hotel, its like our second home in Pittsford. this is why we love about this hotel: perfect location: its in the village, right next to the canal, 2 minutes walk to many nice restaurants--Jojos, Pittsford Pub, Coal Tower etc, there is a Tru salon salon I go all the time while I'm there, a alcohol store and many nice shops. There is a gas station right next to the hotel with Dunkin' donuts in it--love their breakfast! 5 minutes drive to the Pittsford Plaza, 10-15 minutes to Eastview mall. comfortable room: the room is about 230sqf, decent size with a large recliner, a working desk plus chair. nice large bathroom with full amenities (Aveda products). big led TV. complete facilities: the hotel has a decent size indoor pool, with a Jacuzzi right next to it, the water temperature of the pool is so warm in the winter, we use it all the time. next to the pool is a small fitness center with a few machine and some weights, very basic but does the job. in the lobby there is a public computer with printer for guest to use. everyday before 10am (i think), there will be a free coffee station in the lobby, it has coffee/hot cocoa/multiple flavored tea, and they have 4 different flavors of coffee creams, we love it! they are also know for their spa center but I have never used them, it seems very good. the service I enjoyed the most in this hotel is the free limo service, hotel guest just need to book in advance then it can take you to any location within the great Rochester area--and its a Mercedes..if a group more than 4, they also have a Benz van can sit 7 guests (approx.) . I stayed here with all my wedding guests, we used this service a lot. friendly staff: for a long time, they have the same group of front desk staff, every year we come here it just feels like coming back home, seeing the same staff welcome you--even the same house keeping. now there are new faces in the front desk, still very friendly and professional. here is a few things I wish they can improve to make this place even more perfect: 1. the nonadjustable shower head---I just prefer to shower freely, with the shower head right in my hand, is it too much to ask? 2. the flash sound of the toilet is very loud, in the morning and late night, I can easily hear next door flashing toilet. 3. the safe is in a very awkward position of the closet, its about 1.2 meter from the ground---just hanging there, took 1/4 of the closet space because of its thickness--we hang a lot clothe during the winter time so this is quite annoying. I think it should be in the lower position, makes more sense that way. this place makes our visit so stress free that we stayed here rather than the actual home, I think this tells you how nice it is.

"Wonderful getaway close to home"

We stayed for a night here as a getaway close to home and a had a wonderful experience. The spa was amazing and the massage was actually invigorating. I highly commend the service at both the hotel, the spa, and the restaurant. Everyone was very professional yet also personable which is a nice touch for a high end establishment. The food was superb at the restaurant--top notch meal and presentation. The only drawback I saw was the size and layout of the restaurant was a little awkward and didn't match the look and feel of the rest of the hotel. Our "intimate" dinner felt like we were in a fast food restaurant. Though the food quality and service was a 5 the atmosphere of the restaurant brought the rating down a notch.

"It was nice"

Large comfy quiet room away from train tracks. Nice tub and everything was clean. My 18 year old daughter really liked the atmosphere. Helpful car valet cleaned off the snow without asking. We came and went at all different hours and felt safe all the time. You could hear the train, but it was part of the charm of the town. Near a great mall (or 10). Good location for all of the events we attended in Pittsford and Rochester. We will go back.

"Best Hotel in Rochester"

I stayed there for New Years Eve when they had the black out all over the city. The hotel did an amazing job helping us get to our room and they were super nice. We had breakfast in theri restaurant the next morning which was good aswell. The room was super clean. it was a great place to start the new year!
