"AMAZING HONEYMOON!!!!"

5.0/5

Tue, Jun 18, 2013 Ottawa, Canada

There is not enough that can bee said about this resort. It was amazing! You must make reservations immediately upon arrival at the Cariblue Windows tapas restaurant and TAO restaurant and make several as you will want to go back and it fills up quickly. The people are super friendly and welcoming. The resort has been beautifully restored and there is so much to do. The water sports are endless and the all inclusive spa treatments were excellent. This is an absolute must. Well worth the 1 1/2 drive from the airport to get there. But if you can afford it just take the 15 minute helicopter ride. We are definitely going back!

"A Week at Body Holiday Not Long Enough"

5.0/5

Mon, Jun 17, 2013 Mississauga, Canada

My friend and I just returned from a week at the Body Holday, LeSport and it was an absolutely amazing week - so relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were incredible - so accomodating, loyal and engaged, couldn't do enough for us. Loved being able to put up the flag at the beach or pool and one of the beach staff would bring us a beverage of choice. The Spa Treatments were out of this world - we enjoyed a different one every day for 50 minutes, and they were all "heavenly". The food was wonderful, for an "all inclusive" - the Cariblue Restaurant where we enjoyed our morning and lunch buffets, were fabulous - a gorgeous setting, and a la carte each evening. We also ate at Tao which was definitely 5 Star ; and the Windows eatery was really different, but we enjoyed it so much. The Grill was also fantastic. We prefaced dinner with a cocktail at the Piano Bar which was always a hopping place - loved it. Our Room 201 was perfect for us - facing the ocean - we would enjoy early morning coffee before breakfast on the balcony and we would sit each evening after a day at the pool or beach and relax with a cocktail, and watch the Spinning Enthusiasts do their workouts in the TreeHouse. We didn't partake but felt that we got our exercise just watching others do it. We did do one early morning walk which was breathtaking - there is so much to do if you want to partake, and if you just want to relalx you can do that as well, which is what we did. Activities are abundant and included - loved the water sports - scuba diving, windsurfing, tubing - it is all there for you. THe only negative I have is that I think the staff should wear nametags. It wasn't easy to remember all the names, especially when some of them were quite different. our Beach Person, Lindell was outstanding, so gracious and kind at all times. When all was said and done we were sad when the week went by so quickly. Next year we plan to return for 10 days. And so many people we met had been returning guests. One couple from Britain had been there 9 times, and another couple had visited 30 times in 22 years, so the reputation of the resort speaks for itself. Can't wait to go back next year, Rhonda G

"Great place to lay around"

4.0/5

Mon, Jun 17, 2013 Virginia, MG

This resort is a great place to go to just lay on the beach and hang out. There really isn't all that much to see on the island so staying on the resort is perfectly fine. The food here is amazing for an all-inclusive and the drinks constantly flow. Some of the staff I found to be a little rude, but the rest are simply amazing. I even saw one guy take drink orders and bring them out to a floating platform in the ocean. There are a lot of Brits and this place isn't the most child friendly resort.

"An Amazing Stay Once Again"

5.0/5

Mon, Jun 17, 2013 Englefield Green, United Kingdom

This was our 38th visit to Le Sport over the past 22 years & I must say that once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, again the staff excelled themselves & as always nothing was too much trouble. From the early morning walks to the treatments at the Oasis everything was perfect .Just 1 minor "Blip" as mentioned to some of the staff the music in the Clubhouse tends to finish rather early at 11pm , which means that you can be clock watching whilst eating your evening meal especially if you can only get a late booking at the superb Tao Restaurant. Of course the very versatile pianist Alfred continues to play in the Piano Bar until midnight .But to sum up we will continue to visit Le Sport as long as it represents good value for money , we travel regularly during the year to all destinations over the world & I must say Le Sport is very much one of our favourite resorts.

"The staff is 5 Star! My bathroom, not so much."

4.0/5

Fri, Jun 14, 2013 New York City, New York

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at the BodyHoliday. When you only get one bad day of weather in the Carib at the beginning of hurricane season, you're well ahead of the game. My positive thoughts would mirror many other reviews, so I'll stick to the things that stood out on our visit. Ground travel from Hewanorra airport (UVF) will take 1:30 minimum via car, be prepared . If taking the Heli (St. Lucia Helicopters) you can be packed in the heli with other people. Flight is very quick 10-12 min. over the rain forest. If your traveling with luggage larger than a carry-on, it will NOT be loaded on the heli. St. Lucia Heli will transport via vehicle and can take 2 to 4 hours to arrive at the resort. I suggested to the Mgr. at the resort, that BH have their own luggage transport if you take the Heli, this would cut down on delivery time immensely. I recommend asking for Ms.Barbara or her husband for private car transport, arrange via concierge $90 US one way. The resort itself is well laid out. Rooms are not modern in anyway, and could use some updating. The bed was comfy, but the bathroom in my Jr. Suite (371) was very disappointing. Small, one sink and tiles in the shower were missing chalking. Bathtub had a small hole in it, and faucets were hard to navigate. My bathroom at home is 100 times better, and that's sad. In my opinion not worth the extra money for a Jr. suite in anyway. No TV in any guest room, balcony furniture is old, and wi-fi throughout the resort is sporadic unless at the Pavillion. Housekeeping was spot on. My room was always attended to. Bring mosquito repellant, those little buggers are very stealthy. The Spa and all of our treatments were wonderful. They are very accommodating to your changing needs whether it be the times or treatments.Thank you Donna, Maria, Beverly, Cindy and Rosalyn. I highly recommend the aloe wrap on the last day. Fantastic!! One caveat of the spa is the locker room. It is very small, only 2 showers and no steam or sauna. I was surprised since the rest of the spa is vast and beautiful. Food was excellent all around from breakfast to dinner. Tao was good with a romantic asian ambiance, but Cariblue was our fave. Menu changes every night for 9 nights, so for us we had different menu choices every night. We choose the special wines at $14 a glass, a better choice then the house wines. Be sure to stop by the piano bar for pre-dinner cocktails, and ask Jermaine for his special cocktail. Jermaine is a wonderful guy, gracious, with great sense of humor. Activities are abundant, and offered all day long. Try the aqua aerobics in the pool, big fun!! Be warned though, at times it could be like a flabby armed spanking machine :) Renetta and Kestin are great!!! The beach is nice, and water temp. very comfortable. The beach could use a beach comber every evening for aesthetics. It would be a nice touch in the morning to see a pristine combed beach from your balcony. The BodyHoliday is one of the better properties we have visited in the Carib. The beautiful STAFF brings the BodyHoliday experience to the next level. Enjoy!
