Sheraton Waikiki is a beachfront resort known for its panoramic ocean views offered from the most of the newly refreshed guest rooms, signature infinity edge pool and popular dining venues. Honolulu International Airport is approximately nine miles away.

This contemporary resort is centrally located in Waikiki and is within walking distance of many world class shops and restaurants. The new adult infinity edge pool offers panoramic views of Waikiki Beach and offers poolside services such as cold water misting, moist towels, fresh fruit samples, complimentary mini DVD players, and food service. The Helumoa Playground offers two fresh water swimming pools with a water slide, two whirlpools, and a fountain play area for kids. Additional on site amenities include a day spa, fitness center, business center, beach activities desk, cultural activities, kids program, and nightly Hawaiian entertainment. Self parking and valet parking are available for a fee. Dining options include casual cuisine at Ingredients, Peet's Coffee shop, cocktails and light fare and the pool bar and grill, regional Hawaiian cuisine at Kai Market, social comfort food at the signature Rum Fire restaurant, traditional Japanese cuisine at Yoshiya, and room service. Guests also have restaurant signing privileges at Moana Surfrider, The Royal Hawaiian, and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.

All guest rooms are decorated in a contemporary design and offer one king or two double Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds, large stone bathroom and private balcony. In room amenities include a flat screen TV, work desk, Internet access (fee), coffee maker, hair dryer, and iron and ironing board. Club Rooms are located on top floors with deluxe ocean front views and include access to the Leahi Club Lounge, which offers complimentary continental breakfast, afternoon appetizers and beverages, and concierge service.

"Awful"

This hotel is ultra commercial made for mass wedding parties and large conferences, no personal touches at all, rooms are very old and small. 12 elevators dinging constantly, a million people fighting for deckchairs and nothing but pre mix cocktails. If you like any sort of luxury this is not the hotel for you. There are a lot of older hotels in Waikiki, however this would have to be one of the worst.

We stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki in April 2013. The room was just lovely with a great ocean view. The pool and amenities were wonderful. The location was what I remember the most. We were surprised that we go out at night and everything was open. It was also central to the beaches and activities. I would recommend this hotel.

Staying at the Sheraton was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and very accommodating , .especailly the concierge who gave us great advise on popular attractions to see and the best shopping . Our room was spacious with balcony facing the beach ,and a very comfy king size bed. The extra benefits like free wifi and 60 minutes worth of international call per day enhanced our stay and let us keep in contact with family and friends. As it was our anniversary we were also treated to a gift bag full of local goodies. You have the choice of swimming in the family friendly pool or the famous Waikiki beach, which is directly behind hotel. Lots of lounge chairs available with not fee, or you can rent canopy lounges on the beach. Pool staff were always ready for a chat and full of useful information. The Rumfire bar/restaurant was affordable and popular with all tourist and not just Sheraton patrons. A great place to mingle and meet other people with stunning views. The hotel is walking distant to the main strip, Cheesecake Factory, Hard Rock Cafe , Waikiki market place and also close to bus / trolly stops. Shops in the hotel were on the pricey side , but staff are willing to negotiate a price. Overall a great place to stay in Waikiki, I highly recommend it.

Couldn't have been better! Fantastic location, staff were very friendly and helpfull! Pools were amazing, the rumfire bar has great views food and cocktails. Can't wait to come back! We had the best holiday ever!

"Disappointing Room but Great Experiences"

Stayed here overnight for our Wedding Anniversary in June 2012. Got a Kama'aina Rate (Local Hawaiian Rate), which included restaurant, spa, and parking discounts for $189. STAFFF Was treated very well by the Front Desk staff and other hotel/vendor workers. From the pool attendants, restaurant and bar, parking attendants, and coffee and snack bar. ROOM: However, the room itself was disappointing. It seemed as if the maids/housekeepers do not deep clean the room as there was a spider nesting under the sink, the corners of the restroom were unclean, and a roach made an appearance. EXPERIENCE: The best part of the trip was the lovely Infinity Pool, with free rafts to lounge. We had snacks and drinks, and the pool attendant worked hard to find us an umbrella.
