The Sheraton Vistana Villages Resort is located six miles from Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and boasts large one and two-bedroom condo-like facilities with fully-equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, washer/dryers and separate living/dining and sleeping rooms. The resort does not charge additional person fees, resort fees or for cribs. Enjoy free parking, wireless internet access and daily scheduled transportation to select Walt Disney World Theme Parks.

Amenities include a casual restaurant, pool bar, outdoor grill area and Mallory Square Market where you can find groceries, ready to make or eat meals and laundry products. Swim in one of three award winning pools, plus two kids pool and a hot tub. Play in the playground, basketball court, tennis court, game room or ping pong or workout in the fitness center.

One-bedroom accommodates up to 4 with a full size sleeper sofa in the living area and two-bedroom accommodates up to 8 comfortably. Each villa features a screened and furnished private patio. Guests are requested to refrain from smoking in all enclosed public areas, including the villas. The balcony or lanai of the villa, if so equipped, is a designated smoking area. A fee may be charged to cover the expense of restoring an odor free environment to our villas.

"Great hotel for a young family vacation"

Our family stayed here for a full week and had a great time. Having a full kitchen and large living area was a great asset. Much better than having to cram into a single room and eat all meals out. Pros: -Awesome pools, the kids loved them. Especially the pirate ship. The pirate ship & water slide are the main reason we would come back to this hotel again over trying something new -Nice screened in balconies. We ate all our meals outside. -Spacious rooms. -Reasonable sound proofing between rooms. Most hotels have wafer-thin walls, but here we rarely heard our neighbors. -Well equipped kitchens for cooking with nice appliances -Everything appears clean and new. -Plenty of organized activies for children. Loved the gator show! Cons: -The so called “welcome package”. Just another name for time-share presentation. When we told them we weren’t interested, they called 3 nights in a row, waking up our kids to ask us why we weren’t interested in our “welcome package” (time share presentation). We eventually just unplugged all the phones in our condo. Prepare to be harassed about this. -Speaking of time share presentation, all the TVs are programmed to start very loud, on the hotel’s time-share presentation channel. There is no way to avoid having the TV blare loud time-share advertisements every time you turn it on. This also woke up sleeping family members. -Despite very clear signs all around the pools that it was forbidden to reserve pool chairs and cabanas, every day people would throw their stuff in a cabana and then disappear for the day, and then not even use them. When we spoke to the lifeguard about this, they basically said it is not enforced unless you go to the security office and file a complaint. This was very frustrating.

Just come back from our 7th stay at Vistana Villages on International Drive. Its right up the other end, so nice and quiet and a few minutes drive from the premium outlet. The rooms are beautiful, ours was on the 5th floor and overlooked the fountains and pool, its lovely and green there so you always get a good view. Had Jacuzzi in bedroom which was nice, rooms spacious with a nice lounge and kitchen, if you want to cook or have breakfast, there is also a balcony to sit out on. There are pools all which look beautiful, they are all warm and hot tubs around pool as well. They have childrens entertainment daily and movies round the pool, on certain nights,There are also cabanas which are nice round the quiet pool. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and you are only about 10 mins drive from Disney, there are loads of attractions all round. The people round the pool are always very friendly as well, so there is always someone to talk to, we hadn't been back for 3 years but when we went back a couple of weeks ago, I felt like id come home and realised yet again, why we keep coming back, you wont be disappointed.

We have stayed at the Villages three times and will return for our fourth time in just a few weeks. We lived in the Kissimmee area 11 years ago, and we love to come and play in the area without going to many of the main attractions. The Villages are a wonderful place to stay if you want to relax and let your children enjoy the sunshine. Our children are 7 and 2, and love the pirate ship pool. Our 7 year old loves the "big green slide" as he calls it. We have always requested the St. Augustine area of the resort due to the location in relationship to the pirate ship. When we arrived for our last trip, we were booked into another section of the resort. While I knew this section was very nice, it did not meet our needs. I asked to be moved, and the resort staff worked very hard to meet our needs. The time share issue is often discussed on the reviews, and my advice about this issue is simple. Unplug your phone is the most important advice. Secondly, if you need a discount on tickets, you can attend the presentation, but do not have the idea that it will be a quick procedure. Be firm from the beginning about your intentions. We have never had an issue with this. We are owners at another company and exchange to this resort. We are never bothered by this timeshare issue.

This is one of the best places I have ever visited, the rooms are great, very nice bathrooms and the kitchen is well served. You also have a very large swiming pool, barbecue area, free wifi... I will recommend this hotel as one of the best option in Orlando.

Just returned from a 2 week stay at Sheraton Vistana Village (our 6th stay there). We always stay here in Orlando as it's a great quiet location within easy reach of all the theme parks & the shops. The stay was exactly as we expected. Good clean Villa with daily housekeeping. Very well kept resort / grounds / pools & all staff you met - even in passing - all said hello / hope you have a great day etc. The only slight negative (and I really am picking at straws here) was that on the odd day, the housekeeping did not replace all the towels. One day you may get a face towel and a hand towel removed & be replaced by 2 hand towels. This was not an issue for us as there were only 2 of us in the Villa and we had more then enough spare towels. I am 100% sure that a quick phone call would have resolved the matter had it been a problem. Yes, you can spend a lot less on accommodation in Orlando, but we will, without doubt, be back here again soon. You get exactly what you pay for here - good quality at a pretty reasonable price (would be a bargain for a family). If you are from the UK, I found Virgin Holidays to be the cheapest this time round for accommodation only.
