"Rated for Seatac Parking"

4.0/5

Sun, Apr 21, 2013 Seattle, Washington

I searched this Motel under "Value" to write a review then figured out that you have to Search "Valu" Inn or you get a different place who unfortunately my wife called when we were waiting for our airport pickup so that our wait was a little longer than it should have been but that is only our fault. Even then I think our total wait was only 20 minutes this last time. This is the second time we have used the parking here. We booked through http://www.aboutairportparking.com/seatac-valu-inn-airport-parking-new-listing-sea-airport-parking and got a fantastic deal for less than 50 bucks for 9 days. If your going for a good deal this has got to be about the best one around. The onsite parking is a little tight since it is a Motel right on 99 but they have a seperate lot they will move vehicles to until your return then they will have it back in the lot waiting for you. We liked the idea that it was a Motel and not just a lot, we feel that is a bit safer and so far we have not had any issues with damage or anything else that would keep us from returning again in the future. If you want super secure, multiple shuttles, and red carpet atmosphere than this isnt the place for you. But all we ask is for the vehicle to be returned to us with the same amount of gas, no damage, items left in the vehicle and waiting for us and of course free shuttle service and they offer all of that plus being friendly on top of it all. Great value for your money, just remember that when you think of what could be better, are you willing to pay for it? We were very satisfied with the value of the services rendered. We will be returning again. The shuttle leaves every 30 minutes starting on the hour but will come when you call for airport pickup so you may be able to leave more often from the motel. We parked a full size F350 truck so unless you have a semi I would think they can accommodate most anyone for no extra hidden oversize fee.

"Worst hotel I've ever stayed at"

Do not stay here for any reason! We checked in late(1am) with both our mom's and our four children. Got two keys and the grandmas were putting kids to bed after a long flight. The front desk attendant wanted ID for every adult! I said I wasn't going to go up and get everyone's ID. How stupid. Not his fault, hotel policy. Never had that before. Yes it was cheap, but the rooms were absolutely awful. Stink, dirty, torn sheets. One bed was broken. Very shady guests in other rooms smoking like chimneys. Paper thin walls and windows. Just all around awful.

"Very loud area, very poor "breakfast", at least a free airport shuttle."

We spent one night there. For me, this was the first and last night in this hotel. We were 3 adults and booked a room with 2 Queen size beds. The lady at the reception gave us a room with only one bed. At least we were able to get another room with 2 beds after 10 minutes. The receptionist also seemed very disorganized and could not find or clarify the information that I have already prepaid our stay. But, she was friendly. In one of the two beds we have found an used sticking plaster on the sheet. That was very disgusting. During the night we could not really have a deep sleep, because the hotel is at a loud main street where cars are driving round the clock. Furthermore, every 30 minutes we could hear the airplanes landing or starting from the near airport. The free/complimentary breakfast was very disappointing. You even cannot call it "breakfast". It included just 2 sorts of pastries and coffee. The receptionist said that there will be also fruits - but there were no fruits at all. The only good thing was the free parking and the free shuttle service from and to the airport. The room was OK, but you will see that it is an old building.

"OK except for"

The room was clean altho the motel is very old. The front desk help was new and slow but partly because of a mixup over a car. My problem is we were gone for over 3 weeks and during that time someone left the passenger window down. The seat and owners manual in the door were soaked. I didn't note the mileage when we left so I don't know if it was driven during that time. Probably won't stay there again.

"Not bad if just need a place to sleep"

I would give this a 2 1/2. Old TV, a literal chip of soap and no other amenities. The alleged continental breakfast was not worth the trip down the stairs to the office - if that's orange juice, I'll eat my hat. On the up side, it's not too far from the city center and of course the airport. The help tries to help but are limited and the beds are not uncomfortable. We came in late every night (two nights, then another two nights) and left early in the a.m. If you are looking for a resort, this ain't it, but it served our purposes as a place to put our heads - plus coming back from a week in Oregon it saved us time from traveling into Seattle to sleep.
