Winter Season Cancellation Policy: Cancellations prior to 46 days of arrival (60 days prior to arrival for Christmas, Sundance and Presidents Week) will forfeit 20% of reservation value. Cancellations within 45 of arrival (60 days prior to arrival for Christmas, Sundance and Presidents Week), full reservation value will be forfeited.

"Red Pine Condo snowboarding"

Stayed at the Red Pine for 5 nights in early February. We rented it from a private owner of Airbnb.com and everything was great. I thought it was in an awesome location. Close to the Canyons resort either waiting for a bus to take you up the main road in the morning or walking to the Cabriolet lift both are easy options. The condos are also very close to the free bus line to Park City which is convenient. Overall a good choice and a good value in an expensive area.

"Red Pine Scam"

The Red Pine Condos seem to be a decently valued lodging opportunity. However, if you rent a unit with a hot tub, be aware they make you sign a form that says they can charge an additional $100 fee if they deem the hot tub dirty. It is entirely up to their discretion and you cannot challenge the fee. Two weeks after my stay with Red Pine, I received a bill from the Red Pine for $100- no explanation attached. After calling, they informed me it was for the hot tub. We had left the hot tub in decent condition (about as clean as you would expect from four males staying for five night) and I was shocked when I was charged, and even more disappointed that I was not informed and had to call the office to find out what the charge was for. I am certain this is a scam. Anyone booking such a unit for an extended period of time should add the $100 to their bill upon making a calculation if Red Pine is a good value.

We were at Redpine on a years lease and the condos were well maintained, clean, and convenient to skiing. The amenities were 2 pools, spa, sauna, volleyball, tennis, and a clubhouse. Our unit had a laundry room too and a large fireplace with an Alpine blower for added warmth. Recommend this highly and will return. A real family atmosphere with good vibes.

None of the condos at Red Pine are a reasonable walking distance to the mountain or the Cabrolet lift! Waking to the mountain is all up hill and walking back from the lift is all up hill, taking about 20 minutes to do so. Our unit 5D was advertised as modern and updated. Not so! In fact, the glasses, dishes, pots and pans were dirty, gross and old. I wouldn't even think about cooking or eating from them! The units are small and old. They are poorly configued and are unsuitable for families, tiny old barhrooms. Spend a few more dollars and seek out a nice place. There are plenty available! I have been renting condos out west for 20 years and this was my worst experience!

We chose to stay at a Red Pine Condo based on the map provided and the description of the location... we were fooled. The Condo we stayed in was great, with two queen beds plus some singles (in a loft) and had all provided, even a paint brush at the front door. It was clean and well furnished, just as the owners like it. The hot water tanks are very small so do not expect a long shower. The location is not suited to snow skiiers as there is a 1/2 mile uphill walk to the Canyons lifts and it is a 20 min. bus ride to Park City Mountain Resort. There is no local shop other than a 7-Eleven/Petrol station a 10 minute walk away. The map provided that indicates the ski lift location is misleading and potential visitors using this accomodation should be made aware of this and the check in desk being a couple of miles away.
