"Showing its age"

We are timeshare owners at PBLC and have stayed there at least 15 times since it opened in 1992. Each stay is a treasure, but I now have some concerns. The property seems to be fraying at the edges; the patio furniture is beyond repair and at least several of the beach umbrellas were broken. Room tiles are cracked and A/C is too noisy to hear the TV. We miss sitting on our patio and hearing the tinkling of the piano at Paloma in the evening, mixed with the sound of the surf, and we miss the free poolside wi-fi. The current system is pricey and the free option at PB Rose is extremely slow, as another reviewer has pointed out. We certainly plan to return though, as the important stuff is done very well and the setting is incomparable. One other caveat -- there are now a number of terrific restaurants off the Pueblo Bonito properties, so I would think twice about using their all inclusive plan. It ensures that you will have a selection of less than stellar places to eat.

"Great Customer Service"

Henoc @ the front desk took care of all our needs, and Margarito around the beach and pool always got our order right and was prompt. The hotel is older, but in good shape and sits right on the beach. 10 minute walk into town All the rooms face the beach, the ones to the left of the pool have a view of the Arc Tip the help early and you will be taken care of.

Our recent stay at Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos (Blanco) room 505 was just further evidence that this is a place that exemplifies the term "world class" in service.and guest accomodation. It starts at the front desk with Henoc. He demonstrates the ability to turn the travel weary into vacationers in an instant. He gets you to your room and on your way to your first margarita without the feeling of wading through endless minutia as you often find at big resorts. All the front desk staff are professional and friendly. I cannot recall the name of the concierge but she was extremely helpful and remembered my name each time. Antonio, Arturo and all the bell servers are superb. Antonio gave his personal time to help us get to the airport in an emergency situation. Blanco is a place that still maintains the traditional values of hospitality delivered at every phase of your visit. That is why vacationers like myself cannot find reason to go elsewhere given limitless choices for travel. The maintenance of this property is in a word immaculate from the grounds and gardens, to the pool, the restrooms-- anywhere you look there is someone caring for the place. The food and beverage service is superb. Give me Uriel and or Raul (mexican coffee master) at table and Martin or Salvador as beach waiters at Cilantros and I want for nothing. Don't believe the remarks you might read about slow service. I never encountered it in years of visiting Blanco. If you can find a place somewhere where you just decide you want lunch and merely have to just go sit at seaside table and be served as happens almost always at Cilantros feel fortunate. he great part of this deal is that if you want a change of venue for a day you can take the free shuttle to Pueblo Bonito Sunset or Pacifica. There are lots of pools and I suggest you dine at LaFrida at Sunset. See Alehandra there for a memorable dining experience high atop the Pacific. If you want service and classy treatment this is the place. There is something nearby for everyone but If you want Vegas level hype to be present every minute where you stay and/or if you want to travel with a large group intent on imbibing to intoxication-- go elsewhere for your wedding or your whatever. We will do well without you. I would without hesitation recommend Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos.

"Staff Was AMAZING"

We had such a great vacation thanks to the wonderful staff at Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos. Yair at the front desk took great care of us and really made us feel welcome and important. Ozcar with the Bell Service was fabulous too, took care of us whenever we needed transportation or advice where to go. Fernando and Martin at the bar were great as well!! They always made sure we had a drink in hand and were prompt to take care of everyone. Overall we had a fantastic vacation due to all of these people. Room and maid service were exceptional as well and I'm sorry I don't recall their names to thank them personally. The spa at Rose was relaxing and all the staff there was wonderful!! I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to vacation in Cabo. We will definitely be back soon to see them all again!! :)

"Worst All Inclusive"

2.0/5

Tue, May 14, 2013 Calgary, Canada

I have been on many All Inclusive trips in Mexico and Cuba and this hotel was by far the worst and most expensive. The service is usually very slow. There is no way to get a quick bite to eat. All food and drinks come with bills that need to be signed off to your room even if you are all inclusive (the charges get wiped at the end) and sometimes it can take forever to get the bill. We had a large group and everyone had the all inclusive bracelet but it was a nightmare getting drinks from the bar as bar tenders would want everyones room number. There was a 2 drink per person max at a time. Often a food order would never come. There were very few activities and even less that were inclusive. If you are debating over getting the all inclusive option here are some prices: liquor is 95 pesos, Beer is 55 pesos, the Breakfast buffet is 247 pesos, water is 25 peso, a personal pizza is about 140 pesos, a steak is about 250 pesos. All in all we had a great time as always with a good group of friends; however, this may not be the best resort if you are looking for a good all inclusive trip.
