"Amazing hotel in need of relocation"

My family and I stayed at this hotel on May 4th only for one night. The front desk clerk was incredibly friendly when we arrived and let us know everything we needed to know she informed us of the pool hours and breakfast hours and also informed us where breakfast would be served. We asked her when the ticket sales desk would be opened she said it was closed for the night but that they would be available bright and early in the morning but if needed we were free to use the computer in the lobby to purchase tickets online right away. When we went up to our room we stayed on the 6th floor. It was very clean and to be honest a lot nicer then we expected. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! They had several brands of cereal, biscuits with sausage gravy, eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, yogurt, juices, and milk. We left for Disney stuffed and extremely content. We will definitely be returning to this hotel the ONLY and I do mean ONLY suggestions for this hotel would be for them to maybe expand their parking lot and to get out of the location they are in this hotel is far too amazing to be in a neighborhood surrounded with abandoned buildings.

The hotels at Disney were very expense so staying in the park was not an option. This hotel was one exit away from the Epcot highway exit. The rooms were spacious / clean / free WIFI and even had a room balcony with a sliding door so you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. The hotel comes with a free hot/continental breakfast which can be very busy in the morning. It had every thing you needed to start the day but my only suggestion would be to add a second pancake machine since the line was always too long to get one. The hotel doesn't have their own Disney shuttle but is contracted out to a third party. It has 3 scheduled runs in the morning and evening but we didn't want to rely on scheduled times so I found a Hertz rental agency located right across the street inside the Marriott Courtyard and I got a $40 rate for a small car. The agency opened up at 8am and there was never a line for me.

This is the place that we typically stay when we visit Disney and we have enjoyed it. We didn't actually end up staying there for our visit March 2013 but still wanted to write about my experience. We planned to stay but when we arrived for check-in a manager explained to us that there was a water pipe that burst on a floor making many rooms unavailable and they would need to relocate us to a different hotel. I think they had a very large marching band group there so it was easier to rebook single families. They had already made reservations for us at the place directly across the street (which was probably technically a nicer place though we still prefer Hol Inn Exp) at a rate that was cheaper than what we had planned to pay there. The only real difference between the two places was the new one did not have a free breakfast but they told us we were free to still come over to Hol Inn Exp each day for that. It was really close and not that big of a burden to do. So while we did not stay, I thought the staff was super nice about it all and did the best that could have been done in the situation. We were not really troubled at all since all things were arranged before we got there and went smoothly.

We stayed here March 21st & 22nd before beginning our Disney vacation. We checked in extremely late on the 21st and the front desk person was very nice and extremely helpful. The room was fine and spacious. It was older and probably needs some updating. The bathroom tub faucet leaked consistantly, but we ignored it. The weirdest part was that our room had no phone! We were going to call about the faucet and there was no phone! We told the front desk in the morning but they never brought us one. Agan, no big deal for us. The pool was very nice (and heated!). The kids really enjoyed it. Breakfast was very good also, but very crowded (we were there on Spring Break so that was probably it) Overall, we had a nice stay and would probably stay there again if we get a good price on the room like we did.

I stayed here when attending the Sun N Fun air show in Lakeland, about 45 minutes west of the hotel. Very spacious rooms, a great location for local dining and shopping options, and accommodating staff more than made up for the longer commute. They are also very close to Disney and I wish I had enough time to stay longer and enjoy the park as well as the air show. Hope we are back here again next year.
