We were traveling thru on our way to MN. It had been a long day of travel and we were very pleased to find a place to rest and relax. And we found just the place in the Baymont Inn & Suites. We would definitely stay there again.

In town for bball tournament. Check in was easy. Check out was easier. Front desk staff was courteous and really helpful. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Rooms was clean and plenty of towels. Nothing bad to say. Plenty of places to eat in area or very short driving distance. Will for sure stay again when in the area!

While the staff was extremely nice, the hotel itself is in dire need of an update. The mattresses, carpet, bathrooms, fixtures, etc were all very old and worn. This is a $69/night facility...not the $100+ that is charged.

We were going to Indianapolis to take a train on a Monday to Chicago for a few days. Since the train leaves at 6am we wanted to be close to Indianapolis without enduring an outrageous hotel bill. We couldn't beat the price at Baymont Inn off Southport Rd. Everyone was very friendly and the room was nice.

Nothing was done to our room the 9th. We told the maids we were out at 10:00am. that night we needed towels,glasses,coffee etc. Overheard that they were "training". Two nights we smell smoke in the hallway. Asked the ladie that brought us towels if she could smell it. She said "yes,but cannot do anything about it". The room was very nice, clean and no noise. Room 107. People at the desk and the entire staff were very friendly, hard workers in my opinion. Service was great except the one night. We slept well. The experience is poor because of two nights of smoke.
