"Nice hotel, but noisy!"

The hotel is nice, but the bar and restaurant across from it was really loud and made it difficult to get to sleep! Bikes were parked all over the lot across from the hotel and everyone had to gun their engine when they arrived and left! I made the mistake of picking bike week, but it won't happen again! lol

Excellent lodging. I had a coupon i had bought from Living Social & the hotel was more than i expected. Very clean,excellent location & the staff was wonderful. I could walk to anywhere i needed to go. Will definitely stay there again. Would recommend it to anyone.

"Don't stay here!!!! Sleeepless in Myrtle Beach"

We made a reservation for a king room which we received. The room was on 9th floor next to the "electrical room". All night the banging and clanging from the elevator mechanisms in the electrical room could be heard 2 floors below. In the morning we found out there was no hot water. When we approached the desk person she said we know about the noise from the electrical room, but it doesn't bother everyone. As for the hot water we were never notified that floors above the 5th had not water for several days. We requested to be reassigned to another room,which was to be on the 11the floor. If there is no hot water from the 5th floor and above why would we want floor 11? We checked their web site to see if rooms were available and in doing so found out a 'spring special' was on. The room was $40 less than we were paying. When asked for the special we were told that that they would take $20 off the next 2 nights. We said the room was $40 less. After a mild argument were given an $88 refund, a room on the 4th floor and NO APOLOGY for the noise, water and being overcharged. The bathroom had a shower designed for wheel chair access which was not required. Additionally, the hotel location is right in the heart of the amusements and bars. The music and singing went on until after 1am, which coupled with the internal noise from the 'electrical room" lead to a sleepless night. The desk person who received our complaint had a major "attitude' Our recommendation would be to find another place......since their are many, many hotels to chose.

Okay if you catch a deal on groupon otherwise stay some where more luxury. They only have one elevator and you have to wait for a while to get you your room. The parking lot is very small and you have to park behind the hotel a block away and walk to the hotel. The room service could have been better they just made the bed did not vacuum the floor or anything. No bell service at all and it was storming when we arrived.

Location was perfect for what we were looking for. My husband and I stayed her for our honeymoon. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. I had got a really good deal on our room thru groupon. It was definetly worth the money. It was close to restaurants, the beach and boardwalk. A lot of stuff to do within walking distance.I hope to go back again next year.
