A good time to catch Noreen Henry is on one of her early morning runs around Lake Grapevine in suburban Dallas/Fort Worth - that is when she's not busy running Travelocity's global partner services (GPS) team and growing and maintaining Travelocity's business relationships with key players throughout the travel industry.
Noreen oversees a 300+ GPS team responsible for developing strategic partnerships with a wide variety of travel suppliers that distribute their products through Travelocity Global web sites and its affiliate network. Her team is focused on supporting strategic initiatives and sales growth across an extensive supplier network of 75 hotel corporations, more than 100,000 hotel properties, 120 airlines, 14 cruise lines and 14 car rental companies. Prior to this role, Noreen was in charge of Travelocity North America's hotels and vacation package businesses including strategy, product marketing, merchandising, business financials and revenue management.
A 25-year veteran of the travel industry, Noreen joined Travelocity in 2001 and played an integral role in the launch of Travelocity's industry leading merchant hotel program followed by a number of key leadership roles, including the management of Travelocity's global hotel accounts and operations team. Noreen spent the early part of her career with Travelocity's parent company, Sabre Holdings. Her work there gave her exposure to numerous aspects of the electronic distribution business, including time spent in product development, customer experience, and eventually in marketing as senior director of Sabre's technology solutions where she was responsible for the Qik-Access Reservation product line managing more than 60 airlines and hotel clients worldwide.
Noreen earned a certificate from Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program and Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of North Texas. She serves on several boards including Hospitality Sales and Marketing Assn. International (HSMAI) Americas Board and the University of North Texas Hospitality Board of Governors. She previously served on the Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association (HEDNA) Board of Directors and the Southlake (TX) Business Council.
