The Todos Santos Music Festival is a 10-day music festival that was created by Peter Buck of REM and brought to life by The Hotel California to add music to the long list of artistic endeavors hosted in this Pueblo Magico in Baja Sur, Mexico.

Organic Market in San José del Cabo

The organic market is a place where local products and art are available and supplied by the multicultural community. Athletes will take a 2.4-mile swim in the azure blue and turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortes, followed by a 112-mile bike course and a 26.2-mile run course that travels along a 20-mile corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, all while offering views of rugged cliffs and mountains that are bound together by a wash of colors that are unmistakably Cabo’s.

Beginning of Turtle Season

Each year along the beaches of Cabo San Lucas female endangered sea turtles begin returning to the show to lay and nest their eggs. There are many hotels and organizations with in the destination that allow tourists to help release the turtles.

Annual Stars Stripes Fishing & Golf Tournament

This 17th annual tournament brings together families with daily fishing and golf and accompanied by stellar cuisine and nightly entertainment. 14th Annual East Cape Bisbee Tournament

The first of three Bisbee tournaments in Mexico, anglers from all over the world come to the East Cape and compete for large cash prizes.  In 2011 over $330,000 was awarded in prizes among the 61-boat field. Independence Day

Mexican Independence is celebrated every September 15th at 11 pm in cities and towns throughout Mexico. In Mexico City, the President rings the historic liberty bell at that hour as he waves the Mexican flag and shouts "Mexicanos, Viva Mexico." The crowd responds by singing the National Anthem. This practice is mirrored by the governor of each state throughout the country. A parade and civil ceremony is held on September 16, often followed by rodeos, bullfights and festivities.

Cabo Comedy Festival

Next September 2013, Los Cabos will host the first Cabo Comedy Festival encouraging all those looking for a fun time in Cabo.


Puerto Los Cabos World Cup  

This weeklong series of events will take place in the center of the Puerto Los Cabos Marina. Events include a celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament and a 3-day IGT (International Game Fishing) tournament, with an awards banquet and open-air concert bringing the festivities to a close. Deemed the “world’s richest billfish tournament” with over $4 million in prize money, the 31th Annual Bisbee’s Black & Blue will return to Los Cabos proving that the fish don’t come any bigger or more plentiful than in Baja California Sur. Beginning of Art Walks in San Jose del Cabo

San Jose del Cabo art walks are a popular weekly event. Every Thursday evening between the months of November and June, the galleries welcome guests to enjoy an evening strolling by the neighborhood, viewing art, sipping wine and dining at the fabulous neighborhood restaurants. Participating galleries are open from 5pm-9pm and certain galleries will have special events such as "artist in attendance" or openings of new work. It is a great night to come downtown and enjoy what the art district has to offer.

2013 Day of the Dead Festival

The Day of the Dead is an important Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1st, which merges pre-Columbian beliefs, and modern Catholicism by honoring Mexico’s fallen ancestors. The Day of the Dead Festival is a key festival in Cabo San Lucas and through the nation. Families and loved ones pay their respects by creating spectacular altars that are elaborately decorated with photos, candles and food offerings. The altars are then displayed in the towns main square of Plaza Amelia Wilkes, where the best decorated alter is granted a prize.
