In 2006, Expedition Everest opened at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Let’s head to Asia to get a closer look at this high-speed roller coaster train – but beware, you may experience an “up-close and personal” encounter with the infamous guardian of the mountain: the Yeti.

In 2005, Disney’s Magical Express Service debuted at the Walt Disney World Resort, eliminating the hassle and additional expense for guests staying on Disney property to rent a car.

I have utilized the wonderful Walt Disney World Magical Express Service 14 times since 2007.  Disney’s Magical Express Service provides transportation from Orlando International Airport to official Walt Disney World Resort hotels and back.

On December 14, 2003 Disney’s Pop Century Resort opened its “time capsules” to guests.  Inspired by icons that salute many of the 20th-century popular culture crazes, experience why this Disney Value Resort hotel is a “groovy” place for you and your family to stay during your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort is my favorite value resort!  I love the fun and retro theme which represents the decades of the 1950s through the 1990s!  With the loud and vibrant colors mixed with the larger-than-life pop culture icons, the resort just screams “FUN!”

In 2002, a new merchandise location featuring collectible pins from the theme parks helped launch one of the most popular souvenir trends ever seen at The World: pin trading. But this “hidden gem” is only one of many that guests may stumble on upon a second glance across the Vacation Kingdom.
