What benefits will you receive as an affiliate?
|

Make money on each site visitor that books and purchases an airline ticket, or reserves a car rental or hotel when linking through your Web site.
- Earn $2 for each airline ticket that is booked and purchased online when done through our link on your web site.
- Earn $5.00 for each "GoodBuy" Air ticket purchase.
- Earn 2% of the Net Revenue for every car rental booking.
- Earn 3% of the Net Revenue for every Sabre hotel booking.
- Earn 5% of Net Revenue for every Merchant "GoodBuy" hotel booking.
- Earn 3% of Net Revenue on every Last Minute Deal booked online.
- Earn $20.00 for every Travelocity branded vacation package or cruise booking made online.
- Payments are made monthly when you reach a minimum of $50 commission. Payments are sent by check or EFT in U.S. dollars. (If at anytime your monthly earnings are under $50 they will be automatically rolled to the next month for inclusion in your next payment.)

What are the qualifications for acceptance to the Affiliate Program?
|
|
|
Travelocity is looking for quality Web sites that place an emphasis on offering the best content to their site visitors and that would be willing to feature Travelocity as their primary travel planning service. In addition, you must meet the following requirements before Travelocity can accept you as an affiliate:
- Your Web site must have "live" status when your application is submitted. Sorry, we cannot accept sites under construction.
- Your Web site cannot contain content that could be classified as unsuitable. Unsuitable content includes (but is not limited to) that which is defamatory, harassing, harmful, obscene, racially objectionable, or unlawful.
- Please note that Web site approval is at our sole discretion.
- You must agree to use the exact html that is provided for links and graphics, without modification.

What are the steps to join?
|
|
|
- Review the Affiliate Program Operating Agreement.
- Complete and submit the online affiliate application via our site. We will review your application and notify you whether or not you have been accepted as an affiliate.
- Once accepted, we will send you an e-mail containing your username and password to access Reporting.net.
- As soon as you Login to Reporting.net review "Getting Started", which explains how to design your site, display items and maximize revenues.
- Select and create links using the tag generator (Make My Code) button. It will automatically generate the HTML code for you to copy and paste into your site.
- Return to Reporting.net often to view your sites traffic and revenue reports and to refresh your site with any new links and graphics that may have been added since your last visit.

Effective Link Placement

Keep the following tips in mind when placing links on your site:
Place Links In Context
An easy way to improve link performance is to add descriptive language around it. That way the visitor will know why it is there. Think of creative ways to blend your link into the theme of a page, using proper placement and text.
Place Image And Search Links In The Top Left Corner Of Your Web Page
Most visitors to Web sites view Web pages from top to bottom and left to right, so it makes sense to place your image or search links in the top left corner to make them the most visible.
Place Links On Your Home Page
Most visitors to Web sites go through a home page before going to other pages, so place your links on your home page to make them visible. If you have specific content areas of your site, you may want to place links that relate directly to those areas in those pages.
Avoiding Errors With Links
Be Free and Travelocity recommend that you do not alter any link code. Due to the unique tracking information embedded in the link code, alterations to a link's HTML code can lead to tracking problems. When you make changes to your link's code, traffic and sales activity may not be properly recorded and you may lose commissions. In addition, Be Free and Travelocity are not responsible for crediting you for lost commissions due to alterations you have made to links.
