Best so far in Willits

Pros: The room was clean and modern. The breakfast was fine, comparable or slightly better than a Holiday Inn.
Cons: Couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi.
Location: The Skunk Train depot is about a 5-minute drive. The motel is in a court between a Taco Bell and McDonalds, but far enough away not to be a concern.
One night prior to a trip on the Skunk Train. The room was nice and the staff was polite. I hadn't been to this motel before, and was pleased when I arrived.

Thank you for your kind comments. We did have an issue with our battery in one of our main APC units for the wifi- but it is all corrected and our internet is back to full strength. Deepest agologies for connection problems!

We enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Breakfast on the outdoor patio.
Cons: Some of the area behind the hotel along the creek is used maintenance supplies and equipment. Suggest guests not be allowed in that area.
Location: Walk 100 yds to fast food. If you don't mind spending more for a nice dinner, go to Adam's instead.
We stayed one night on our way north. Check-in was easy. Our room was clean. The air conditioner worked properly. The provided breakfast was good. The rating is only four because of a few minor items in the room. One light-bulb was out, the tissue was not in it's proper holder, and the cooler's plastic casing was loose. I should have asked that these items be remedied and I could have reported on their response. However, I found the tissue and ignored the other two issues.

Pleasant

A good hotel for the money. Better than most in the area among a limited selection. Clean, friendly, moderate Wi-Fi speed, good breakfast menu (free).

Very pleasant place to stay

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
I had a pleasant upstairs room that was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I appreciated having a mini-fridge in the room. A hot buffet breakfast is available (no cost), and wireless is also free. The Inn is off the 101 highway that goes through the center of town, so it was far quieter than other lodging in Willits that are directly on 101.

I booked because the web site stated "The property amenities include fitness center". Paying an additional fee and receiving access to a local gym doesn

Charming Inn

This charming Inn had a great look and feel as we drove in. It is the only hotel in the town that isn't right on the Main Street - which is actually the Highway 101. So that was what attracted us - that it was set off the Hwy and quiet. The property is very well mantained and you can tell from all the plants, sitting areas, etc that someone cares and works hard to keep it nice and unique. The room was very clean, spacious and furniture, bedding, mattress all new. Hot breakfast in the morning -- hot freshly made oatmeal with toppings and a really good egg dish. Again, you could tell it was healthy and better than your "chain" hotel breakfast. Staff was great and we would highly recommend!

Great place to hang your hat.

Stayed September 2008. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, even printed my boarding pass for trip home. The complimentary breakfast rated top notch, with good selection of fresh food, drinks and hot coffee. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Am planning on returning this year and would not hesitate to stay again.
