"Overall good hotel"
I stayed here with family. The hotel, rooms, & pool were all very nice. The front desk person did the minimum required. We were disappointed that we did not have 2 rooms together, or at least on the same floor, and his attitude was, too bad for you, and made no attempt to even check to see if he could help us with a resolution. The breakfast was nice, waffles were good. The "breakfast lady" was very pleasant, helpful, and kept the dining area stocked & clean. We had to travel quite a distance for other meals, not much nearby.

"Looks and feels like a new hotel."
We stayed here and drove into Cincinnati for a convention-they have a wonderful breakfast bar (eggs, bacon, etc) included, as well as a pool and hot tub. Parking was free, and the room was lovely and modern. All in all, a better deal than the more expensive hotels downtown in Cinci. We did have to drive to dinner, but not too far, as there are no restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel is kind of set apart on the road.

"Sleepnumber bed awesome"
My husband and I are thinking about buying a SleepNumber bed. So when planning a trip to Covington, I read that the Radisson had these in some of the rooms. The room was not bad...had kind of a musty smell, shower curtain was a little stained. Overall , the room was clean though. But all in all the beds made up for all else. Can't wait to buy one!

"Beats the "best"!"
We stayed at Garfied Suites whie attending an International conference at one of the big name hotels several blocks away. We (six of us) were blown away by the personal service we found at Garfield Suites. We were in our rooms for about 1/2 hour and someone called from the front desk to make sure we were comfortable and to see if we needed anything. Attendees staying at the conference center hotel complained often about the noisiness of their hotel rooms and a number of other issues, of which we had none. The suites were spacious, with very comfortable beds and a ful kitchen. We all agreed we will return to this facility if visiting Cincinnatti again.

"Great downtown location, friendly service"
I booked unknowingly booked this hotel as part of the Travelocity Unpublished Rate Hotel bookings and immediately became nervous reading some of the awful reviews around the web about this place. I was pleasantly surprised and had a completely different experience than most reviewers. For starters, we arrived in Cincinnati WAY early than anticipated (5am) and check in wasn't until 4pm. We called to see if there was any possibility of early check-in, thinking we may get into a room around noon/1pm. Lorraine (super sweet front desk attendant) told us that she was able to accommodate our request and that we could get into a room immediately! I found the lobby to be pretty, slightly dated, but clean. Our room was in the North Tower, which I have heard are nicer. It was very clean and felt updated. The bedding was to die for! We used the fitness center and pool during our stay. The A/C was broken in the fitness center but there were floor to ceiling windows that opened and we were impressed by the offering of equipment. The pool was clean and got very busy around noon/1pm. It was great to be able to drink on the pool deck since most hotels don't allow alcohol in this area for liability reasons. Great central downtown location. Some sketchy side streets to the north/west though. Park in a nearby garage and save yourself money and time waiting for the valet to return your car.

"Very confortable bed, great view"
Loved this hotel. We had a great view of the river and the baseball park. and we actually walked to the game. We slept with the curtains open so we could see the lights of the city at night. We prepaid for the breakfast and were told when we got there that it was a buffet. I was a little disspointed until I saw the buffet-fresh omlettes, eggs, sausages, bacon, fruit, bagels-you get the idea. My only suggestion would be a makeup mirror in the bathroom and a light in the shower. It was a little dark once the heavy curtain was closed.

"Excellent Service"
I was delayed in Chicago and didn't arrive at the hotel until well after 1 a.m. I received excellent service even though it was so late. The room was adequate for one person. The updates were nice but the updates didn't seem to extend into the bathroom area. All in all not a bad Hotel. It was a little pricey but I figure peace of mind is worth the extra money when your'e traveling.

"A very classy hotel."
The room was very attractive, with a nice layout and there was plenty of space. The staff were very friendly, polite and responsive. The restaurant was a good value and the food I had was delicious. The whole place has a quality feeling. It is an old building that has been well rehabbed and updated. However, the floors are not even under the carpeting in the hallway, so it was not a gut rehab, but that sort of adds to the old world flavor. There is a lot of art, both in the hallways and in the rooms, and it is tasteful (prints, art photography and historic photography).
