The area itself was nice and I felt safe and comfortable while traveling with a child. The building itself was nice enough and I didn't have a problem with that. Our tv wouldn't work (there was no remote and when we called, we were told that a remote had to be programmed by the maintenance person, who had left at 5pm.) A man did come to our room with a remote he'd found and was able to get our tv to come on to ONE channel --ESPN. Not what either of us enjoy. A note was left for the maintenance person to check it while we were gone for the day. Back that evening and nothing...We were told that was a special remote and they could move us to another room. We were leaving Monday morning, so we opted to stay where we were. Thankfully, we weren't in our room much, and with the wi-fi, my grandson was able to watch netflix. The facility served it's purpose for a fun weekend spent at Kings Island, but I'll likely look for another option if we do a weekend trip in the future.

TV remote didnt work, hole in the wall, ac fan nor heat fan worked very well. Room was stuffy and hot all the time. Not all of the lights worked in the room. Bathroom exhaust was broken. Breakfast sandwiches are under lock and key...just would not recommend or stay ever again.

Nice place

Pros: The staff were excellent
Nice older hotel. Great customer service. The free breakfast was better than most for being free. The staff were extremely attentive to our needs. The WIFI was spotty at times,,, but for free it wasn't bad. The front desk even lent us a fan since air movement and "white" noise helps us both sleep. We are planning more trips to the area and will stay here again. Oh! And a great price.
