There was nobody to check us in at the front desk , had to wait 5 minutes. Other than that everything was clean and pleasant.

Bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom had recently been remodeled and was very nice. Carpet in hallways and lobby was in need of an update. Seemed to be an easy place for transient folks to wander in - one woman was trying keys in various room locks and taking things from housekeeping carts/ lobby. Staff tried to quietly deal with her but eventually police had to be called. I was in the lobby as things escalated and her friend had also wandered in. Once police came he took off quickly… but both could be seen hanging across the street. It was exceptionally cold and they were likely homeless so I feel this could have been handled by cops taking them to a shelter, not the hotels fault. BUT hotel has a basket where everyone tosses keys when checking out- many in the sleeves that have room numbers written in them. Makes it easy to grab keys… get rid of the basket system!

The staff is very excellent! Welcoming and kind. We had our pup with us on first floor, nice room, but staircase right next to us. Poor pup wake up barking all night peeps going up n down. Was excited to know hot tub available. We open the door to outside access but couldn't go.. Too much bird poops
