Great location for Kennedy Center. Good pastries at Tatte nearby, and Rasika West End was delicious and close, too.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff was outstanding…more than courteous, helpful, friendly, catered to all of our needs. Warned us of rain one evening and offered an umbrella, offered cold bottled water after our return from a long hot walk, volunteered to call cabs whenever needed, made suggestions on places to visit and eat, gave directions…everything you could ask for and more.

More than likely would not stay here again. Was surprised at a $50/night pet charge upon arrival. Staff wasn’t the friendliest. Had to ask for bath towels and front desk woman was flustered by it. Sleep was terrible due to the sound of the heater kicking on and off. SO loud! Then someone was smoking and all of the smell was coming into our room. Can not believe this is a 4 star hotel. This was a step above a motel.

The staff were all so kind and helpful. We really appreciated the staff from helping us find specific places to helping us with extra things for breakfast to smiling and offering assistance anytime we were in the lobby. We also enjoyed the wine tasting and our kids lived the hot chocolate.
