"Quick visit/ Met our needs"
My family were in Georgetown for just one night. We were visitng Georgetown University and doing a little sightseeing. The Inn's location was perfect for both. We were only a 10 minute walk to the University and 35 minutes bus ride (Eclipse) to the capitol/ Whitehouse/ and other major stops in DC. The service from the front desk was helpful in pointing out the best way to get around and taking care of our luggage on our early arrival and late departure. The room was clean and well-appointed with 2 queen beds and a nice sitting area. The one surprise was the ceilig in the shower had some black spots on it but otherwise it was fine. Free wireless was advertized but not available. The "Daily Grill" was pleasant and the food was good.

"Amazing boutique hotel in Georgetown"
Very welcoming and professional staff. Sweet little touches like having classical music playing in my room when I walked in and having the sheets turned down at night. I did not want to leave.

"Free breakfast, friendly staff, what's not to like?"
Everyone at the hotel was very nice and made us feel welcome. We especially enjoyed the free breakfast with waffles and the warm cookies in the evening.

"Loved this hotel!"
We wanted a hotel that was close to dining and sites and this one fit the bill. Walking distance to restaurants and cafes as well as the subway. We didn't like our original room, which was an interior room with no street view, so they found us another one available the next day. We repacked our bags and left for site seeing. When we returned after lunch our bags were waiting for us in the new room. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Nice hotel in a good location"
We stayed in a Grand Double. The room was perfect-- roomy, nice kitchen area, fine bathroom, comfortable bed. Gym is 5 blocks away, but good facility. Key drawback: slow/intermittent wifi. Also, parking is free, but there are only about 10 spaces, so sometimes we could park, sometimes not.

"Birthday Weekend"
This Hotel is in a nice area of DC, it a little bit away from major attraction sites but it's easy to get public transportation to get you there. It's in a quiet neighborhood so if relaxation is what your looking for, this hotel will be perfect. It is designed in a cotemporary style which can be cold but the hotel staff provides the warmth.

"It's all about location, location, location"
The Capitol Hill Hyatt Regency is three blocks from the US Capitol and about the same distance to Union Station. You can really get around DC by using the Metro with it's subway station scattered through out the city. The Hyatt also has a tour stop at its front door so you can catch a day or night bus tour. There are several "Bike Share" stations in a 3 block radius. It's a nice way to see DC. There are not too many affordable hotels along the National Mall but this can be one of them if you know when to visit DC. There are always cheaper hotels to be found when Congress is not in session because unlike other vacation cities, it's actually cheaper to stay in DC during the weekend or a holiday. The Article One Grill has some great food but can be pricy for some, especially those with families. Breakfast or lunch for one on the average will run you about $15 to $25 with tip and dinner will run about $25+. Try the West Wing Deli next door for great sandwiches made with Boars Head meats and fast service. The Hyatt also has an gift shop and store that has snacks, drinks and souvenirs and you can get your favorite Starbucks drink there as well. The one thing no one tells you is that there is a firehouse across the street and you will be hearing sirens during the day as well as the night. It is possible to ask for a room away from the street and those sirens. I have stayed here two different times and I love the friendly service, the clean rooms and the great location of the Capitol Hill Hyatt Regency. I recommend this hotel to all because of it's location not only to the Capitol but to Union Station as well but I also recommend the hotel because it's everything a hotel should be.

"Close to Capitol Building"
In fact, if you get out the spinning door in front of the hotel and look to the right, you can see Capitol building right there. Very close to Union station (couple of blocks). Also West Wing Cafe is right around the corner. Room for us was on the other side of the building, so not much view there. Room was very clean and everything was so nice! Loved the crispiness of sheets, abundance of pillows is just awesome. Bathroom was very clean. LOVED body wash.
