We had a transportation cancellation so our travel plans changed last minute. We were looking for a one night stay for 2 adults and one child. We arrived at 2 am after traveling all day. The check in was easy but when we got to our room the sofa bed had one dirty sheet on it, zero extra sheets, blankets or pillows. Rather than call the front desk and wait for the items I just had my child share one of the beds with me. Not the end of the world, but we had booked that specific room for that sofa bed. The door handles to the bathrooms and cabinets looked like they had never been cleaned or wiped down and there was a missed dirty Q-tip laying on the bathroom floor by the garbage can. In the morning we noticed there were no washcloths so we picked up the desk phone to call front desk and the phone didn’t work. I used my cell phone to call and told them about the missing wash cloths and broken phone. We gave up on waiting for the linens, which arrived after showers. The elevator was super slow and crowded. When checking out I told the clerk about the issues and she jotted some notes on a paper. Didn’t seem to really care since she never asked how our stay was, I had to initiate the conversation. So overall, was it the best or cleanest? No, not even close. Was it a bed to sleep in after a long day of travel? Yes.
