"Gracious and efficient service, ideal location, elegant and relaxed atmosphere"
The excellent service began when i was making initial inquiries - the reservation staff responded quickly, answered all my questions fully and then were able to ensure that my special requests were honored. When we arrived after a long flight from NYC, all our needs were met and the rooms were well appointed, clean and extremely comfortable (even my pre-arrival request for down pillows had been remembered and were in our beds). Breakfast upstairs was calm, in a beautiful dining area with attentive and efficient staff - the buffet was never chaotic, was always filled with delicious and fresh foods (breads, pastries, frest fruit and yoghurt assortments), eggs and hot foods. We found that the concierge staff were very helpful with suggesting authentic and delicious restaurants (which were appropriate for families: we were with our daughters: well travelled and ages 12 and 15) as well as securing reservations for museums (Galleria Borghese) and taxis. The location for us was perfect; it was a huge relief to be out of the mania closer to the Spanish Steps and as we are all walkers, found it easily accessible to the rest of the city (we didn't mind walking up the big hill). We used the spa and it was a great break for all of us when we were so tired from sight seeing.

"Marvelous hotel"
This hotel was wonderful! As soon as we walked into the hotel, the bellman, concierge and people at the reception desk were attentive & friendly. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding between our taxi & us...and the hotel took the responsibility upon themselves & upgraded to a suite! We were thrilled! We stayed in the suite wing of the hotel & the room was beautiful! It even had a fresco behind our bed. The room had every amenity imaginable. Turn down service included complimentary slippers placed on a mat next to the bed and a thoughtful hand-written note from the staff with the weather forecast (very helpful) for the next day. The bathroom was spacious & had a rain (ceiling) showerhead. The fitness room was well appointed with exercise equipment, towels, sauna & mini refrigerator with cold water bottles. We had dinner on the top floor restaurant, La Terrazza. The food was good but the service was absolutely impeccable. This is the only restaurant that I have been to that they actually place a side table for the woman to place her purse during dining. The view from the restaurant is breath-taking! I would DEFINITELY stay at this hotel again. Location - it is a 3-5 minute walk to Villa Borghese, 5 minute walk to the top of the Spanish Steps, 7 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. Hotel Eden would definitely be my first choice to stay in Rome. We also stayed at the Intercontinental and was not as impressed with that hotel, as we were with Hotel Eden.

"As is expected. "
The rooms are a bit smaller by American standards but still nice and not cramped. The decor in the rooms are a bit old but still classy. Standard hard European mattresses. Nice lobby. Good concierge. Good location.

"great hotel for the price!"
Staff was friendly and extremely helpful - my only complaint was the shower water could be warmer. Breakfast was fabulous-and what a great view! It was conveniently located to the Termini station and Spanish steps. I would definitely stay here again.

"Ok if you just want a plce to rest."
Cute room but a little small and the decoration is a little to outdated for my taste. I wish the front reception could have been a little more accommodating with early check in. They made us wait more than two hour after a long flight. They had a weird rule about no irons so keeping neat clothes was rough. The walls are thin so you can easily hear neighbors. The shower was nice. The breakfast they have is not that tasty. Their was a yummy cafe that served American breakfast that was next to a salon around the corner to the left. Also a wonderful deli was nearby, yummy. There was also a charge for internet.

"“Wonderful Rome”"
Great experience, my favorite Hotel The rooms are super lovely, the hotel is in a quiet area, where you can rest away from the crowded tourists, do jogging and still 10mins bus ride away from the main attractions. the service at the hotel was excellent. Breakfast is big and delicious! I had a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants good value but good service as well.
