Very clean and nicely decorated hotel. Clean property. Loved the pool/BBQ area. The town unfortunately has a lot of transient/unsafe feeling locals. Not the hotel's fault just the area. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

We notified the motel that we had pets and would need room designated for pets. At the front desk when checking in, I once again reminded the receptionists that we had pets. We were then assigned a room and charged an additional $20 for the pets. Once in the room, I received a call from the manager that we were in a room not assigned for pets and kept inferring that we were attempting to sneak the pets in our room. I repeatedly told her that we notified the front desk of our pets and we paid the pet fee. But she kept insisting that we're not supposed to be in that room. I kept explaining that it was the front desk that sent us to that room and that we paid the pet fee. The manager was VERY rude and unprofessional and refused to take responsibility for room assignment mix up. Instead, she kept vilifying us for trying to sneak the dogs into the room!

DONT STAY HERE!

Bugs is the room! Burn marks everywhere. Dirty floors. Broken air conditioner on a hundered degree day. Beds looked like they'd already been laid on. Neighboring rooms appear to be shady long term residents. Nasty place and it wasn't even cheap!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

There were bugs in the room. It was a hundred degree day and they gave us a room with a broken AC unit. Cigarette burns everywhere in my non-smoking room and a cigarette actually sitting in the window sill. Bedspreads were tousled as if someone had already been laying on them. Neighboring rooms had suspicious people who appeared to be long term tenants. Floor was dirty. It was all bad. Bathtub was old and stained and had many burn marks.

Don't Stay!

We were given a smoking room instead of a non smoking, which I had reserved. When I approached the front desk about the issue, she was the least helpful and most robotic person I've ever come across as a service oriented employee. It was disappointing, to say the least. She had a room available, but wanted to charge us the extra fee for the cost of the room. It would have meant an added $150 extra! Considering the state of the room we were in (dirty floors that left our socks filthy..no carpet. Walls with huge chunks of paint missing, mold in bathroom, the worst smell of smoke and body odor that was masked with chemical cleaner, door jam was cracked which made locking door a bit tricky), there was NO way I was going to pay a penny more. We would have left to find another hotel, but it was July4th weekend and impossible to find anything - which is why we believe they were unwilling to be the slightest bit courteous or even cordial with our issue. Our clothes smelled like smoke for 3 days! Breakfast was really sparse and awful. We opted to just leave the next day. Worst hotel ever and incredibly unprofessional staff.

Not Good

Pros: Location
Cons: The painting was not done correctly and could use touch up. Better breakfasts! They were awful.
Location: no comment
The breakfast was awful, the majority of HBO on TV was Spanish and there was no instructions of changing it. The room was satisfactory but it needed painting around, especially the bathroom. Would not stay there again.

Older, close to freeway and coffee shop

Pros: Easy access, across parking lot from coffee shop.
Cons: Issue with hot water in showers.
Location: Next to one of the main cross streets, and freeway on/off ramps.
Older units, beginning to show age, but clean. Issue with hot water; too many demands and you get sudden burst of cold.
