American Hiking Society: For the last three decades, American Hiking Society has been at the forefront protecting the nation's trails and the hiking experience. Our deep roots in outdoor recreation, advocacy, volunteering and experiencing nature through hiking bring me enormous pride and satisfaction. Hiking our nation's trails offers Americans boundless opportunities to enjoy nature, renew themselves and establish a lifetime of fitness. American Hiking Society works toward ensuring that hiking trails and natural places are cherished and preserved for us and for future generations as well.

Cross-Cultural Solutions: Cross Cultural Solutions: Cross-Cultural Solutions is a nonprofit working to address critical global issues by providing meaningful volunteer service to communities abroad, and contributing responsibly to local economies. Founded in 1995, they have worked with more than 30,000 volunteers. Their projects are always sustainable and developed with community leaders, and based on current community needs. CCS volunteers enjoy a unique opportunity to work alongside members of a local community, a chance to experience genuine cultural immersion, and an adventure of a lifetime.

Earthwatch Institute:Since 1971, over 93,000 volunteers have joined scientists in the field as research assistants, and between them have contributed more than 11 million hours of their time to frontline environmental research all over the world. On their projects, citizens and scientists work together for the good of the planet.

Globe Aware: Globe Aware is a nonprofit charity that mobilizes short-term volunteer programs around the world. These adventures in service focus on promoting cultural awareness and sustainability and are often compared to a mini "peace corps" experience. All volunteers are accompanied by a bilingual volunteer coordinator to assist the volunteer throughout their program.
