TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CHANGE AMBASSADORS GRANT

YOU MUST AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING CHANGE AMBASSADORS GRANT REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO IMPLEMENTING YOUR CHANGE AMBASSADORS GRANT AWARD.

I. Change Ambassadors Grant Award Criteria
The Sabre Holdings Foundation (“Foundation”) offers Change Ambassadors Grants (CAG) to support volunteer travel for qualified applicants through our volunteer travel partners. Each grant must:

A. Comply with CAG and our volunteer travel partner’s policies regarding travel insurance, minimum age requirements, and other requirements

B. Be submitted with an application no later than the due date set out on the application guidelines.

An individual's volunteer efforts cannot be supported with grant funds more than one time per calendar year. Individuals or teams of qualified individuals may serve through a single grant application.

Anyone can apply for the Change Ambassadors Grant either as an individual or as part of a team. General age restrictions are the following, unless otherwise approved in writing by both us and our volunteer travel partner: Individual and team leader applicants must be 18. Team members, unless, accompanied by parent or legal guardian, must also be 18 years of age. The age restrictions for children on family teams depend on the chosen trip and terms & conditions set by our volunteer travel partners and should be approved by us in writing. In the event of a conflict between the terms & conditions of our volunteer travel partners and our terms & conditions, our terms and conditions shall govern. A parent or guardian of a minor will be required to sign on behalf of the minor.

We reserve the right to reject any applicant who does not meet our eligibility criteria, does not agree to these terms and conditions, or for any other reason.

II. Change Ambassadors Grant Funding and Payment
Change Ambassadors Grant funds will not be released until all of the following conditions are met:

A. The Foundation has received a signed and completed Change Ambassadors Grant Application and Agreement for each individual traveling on the grant. Each Agreement must be signed by the Foundation as well as the appropriate volunteer.

B. The volunteer travel partner arranging the trip has notified the Foundation that travel arrangements have been secured through either ticket purchase or local purchase authorization.

C. The individual(s) traveling on the grant may be asked to submit certification that insurance coverage in compliance with CAG policies has been acquired.

D. The Foundation has received information regarding an appropriate payee for the grant. Please know that:

1. The awarded grant money will go directly to the volunteer travel partner to pay for the volunteer trip, and toward airfare and other necessary travel-related expenses to and from the volunteer site. Grant recipients can choose to book their transportation and necessary accommodation through any airline and/or hotel company directly or through Travelocity to be eligible for reimbursement. Any additional expenses incurred are the responsibility of the recipient(s). Necessary transportation expenses to-and-from the volunteer site will be reimbursed to the grant recipient upon presentation of a valid receipt(s) from an airline and/or hotel company up to the total US $5,000, including the cost of the volunteer vacation (amounts paid to volunteer travel partner).

2. No other cash will be paid to individuals.

III. Reporting Requirements
Trip reports are a valuable source of information for the Foundation’s monitoring and future evaluations. Change Ambassadors requires CAG recipient(s) to adhere to the following reporting requirements:

A. Upon completion of grant recipient’s travel, a report is to be submitted to grant committee describing the grant recipient’s accomplishments with respect to the grant and accounting for the funds received under the grant. If possible please enclose action photographs with captions detailing different aspects of your volunteer vacation.

Failure to provide accurate and timely report could result in barring from future grants the individuals who traveled, until CAG receives an acceptable report. Additionally, if Sabre Holdings Foundation finds that grant funds were used for improper purposes, Sabre Holdings Foundation will take all reasonable and appropriate steps to recover diverted grant funds or to ensure restoration of diverted funds and the dedication of other grant funds held by the grantee to the purposes being financed by the grant.

IV. Time Limits

A. Grant applications need to be received no later than the due date as set out on the CAG application guidelines for the grant being applied for.

B. Travel arrangements through our volunteer travel partners must be made immediately after notification of approval and no less than 45 days before departure. If this is not adhered to, the travel dates will need to be changed or the grant may be subject to cancellation;

C. Trips must be taken within six months of the notification of approval.

V. Volunteer Partner Organizations

Change Ambassadors has partnered with top volunteer travel providers. These non-profit partners represent a wide range of trip opportunities – from environmental work to animal rescue and habitat restoration to humanitarian and homebuilding missions around the world. Applicants can search the volunteer travel provider’s collection of volunteer trips.

Applicants can choose their volunteer trips from the volunteer travel partners listed on The Travel for Good website.

These Terms & Conditions are subject to the terms of the Change Ambassadors Grant Agreement which I have signed and delivered to the Foundation.
