"Surprisingly nice, cean and quiet room"
Enjoyed our stay.  Just used the hotel for the cheap room, didn't eat in the restaurants.  The Comedy show was a bonus which we quite enjoyed

"Extra charge "
Hotel is nice and clean, checkout is at 11am but was stunned when called the front desk to see if we could check out later. told them only needed an hour at the most. They charge 40.00 if you need to stay longer I have never had this happen anywhere. Advice don't party to late the nite before ;)

"Good Location"
Beautiful hotel centrally located. Tram runs from Monte Carlo to Bellagio. However, we saw no signs for the tram until we walked to the Aria, got on the tram and then saw it went to the Monte Carlo. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, we waited 30 minutes to check in. With almost 3,000 rooms, should have been more employees. Also, the Concierge line was always long. The pool and lazy river were very nice and the Food Court was great for a reasonably priced breakfast and lunch. Casino had too many old machines which were extremely tight. I had read that the Monte Carlo was recently updated. I don't know what was updated but it wasn't our room. Mold stains around edge of tub and chairs and carpet stained. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

"World Class Experience As Always"
This was our 2nd vacation to Las Vegas and our 2nd stay at the MGM Grand. The Vanilla scent of the hotel is amazing. The staff are very friendly and professional and willing to do what ever it takes to help with any issue or concern you may have. The beds are extremely comfortable and the house keeping staff do an excellent job on the facilities and rooms. I would recommend any MGM Resort in Las Vegas but highly recommend the MGM Grand most of all. It's accessibility to other areas of the strip via bridges, walkways, or the tram make the Las Vegas experience that much better.

"Christmas in Las Vegas"
We stayed 5 nights at the Luxor, in Las Vegas. Out of every hotel it was our favorite. It was clean, the staff were friendly and it was easy to navigate. The Luxor is wide open and has a great layout unlike other hotels that force you through the casino. See the Titanic Exhibit!! The Luxor is older and could use some updating. We stayed in the Tower on the 16th floor with views of the Mountains. Rori, who worked on the Casino floor was wonderful. She showed us how to use the machines, as this was our first time gambling. The Irish Pub in the shopping district between Excalibur and Luxor is a must visit! Also, if your looking for fun and interactivity see the Tournament of Kings, it was amazing!! Oh, and sit in the Dragon section. Le Reve at the Wynn was the most fantastic show. Expensive but the best production show in Las Vegas. For your last night eat at the, 'On the Top Restaurant' at the Stratosphere Hotel. Amazing views, amazing food paired with wine. Tips: Play My Vegas! Use the vouchers as much as possible and bring a few extra. Sometimes even after reading the fine print, they can't be vouchered. The $20 Tip Trick worked! Look it up on Youtube. Almost everywhere you go professional Photographers ask to take your pic for a buck. It's super expensive! The biggest Photography company in Las Vegas is Cashman Photo. Let them take your photo and get the receipt with barcode. This will allow you to order them online for a 3rd of the cost. Have Fun!

"Nice hotel for adults, not children friendly."
General Hotel and Casino was great. Everyone was super friendly. McCalls restaurant was really good. Gift shops, shoe shine, pool, and slot machines are what we used. All worked out great. One slot took $3 from us and didnt register on the slot machine, were treated as if we were lying. It was only $3 so we didnt care, but it is what it is. Also, all power went out in the slots near the Central elevators or about 5 minutes. Luckily we hadnt put money in the slots yet. Nobody came to check on people that were currently playing, which kind of surprised me. Would never eat at the buffet again. Took 15 minutes to get drinks, and only because I called a manager over. They were extremely short staffed (Monday night). Im also shocked they only had 2 live shows. We here they were good but we didint go to them since we wanted to see other shows at other hotels. All in all, I give this hotel and experience 4 stars. We stayed 5 days and only had a few hiccups along the way. The rooms were clean, we also had a strip view and we didnt even pay for the upgrade. The only reason we will not stay at the Stratosphere is due to the distance it takes to get to the main part of the strip. We spent probably $150 in taxi cabs over 4 full days. We didnt take kids with us on this trip, but we did check out the arcade, which was small at best. Nothing really else for kids to do there besides the pool.

"# TheOne fight weekend"
The visit to Vegas was fun.  NYNY hotel was a pleasant stay.  We upgraded room because we arrived before check-in time.  Upgrade cost us $20 for early check-in and $15/day for upgrade.  Not sure what our original room looked like but it was double beds.  Upgraded room was to a King size bed.  Our room had an outside angle (room #1450 in New York Tower) and had extra space. It made for an almost suite feel.  Casino was adequate.  Needs more Craps table.  Several eating options.  The pizza place upstairs in food court, near walking bridge, is delicious.  At night on Saturday the NYNY Casino bar had a club feel.  There was a live DJ spinning great dance tunes.  Also, GO-GO dancers in the casino on platforms.   Worst part of the trip was flying Spirit Airlines.  Whatever you do spend the extra $ and don't fly Spirit.  Spirit Airline is a terrible airline.  They try to upsell you, submit credit card offers, fees and restrictions on luggage, seats seem awfully close together, and do not accept cash on plane.  BTW they charge for everything even blankets.  Travelocity offered a free show with a 3 day trip.  Be sure to understand all of the offers completely.  The offer was nice but a bit tediouse to obtain.  Not sure if it was Travelocity or the MGM Grand Resorts that made it difficult.  But be warned read and follow directions completely.  Even after we did everything correctly the MGM Box Office was still ready to charge us for the show tickets.  We ended up going to the Hotel the show (KA) was at to pick up our tickets.  KA is great unless you have seen other Cirque de Soleil productions.  If so then it is just good.  Best thing about the show is the stage that can manipulated.  Awesome!!!
