"Perfect location"
We stayed for the weekend (Fri to Sun.) It is only a block to the Public Gardens and Boston Commons. Could also walk to stops for city trolley and duck tours. Hotel service was great and food at the onsite restaurants was good. We got a petite room, which would have been adequate for one person but was cramped for a couple. Although well decorated and with a comfy bed, it was smaller than cruise staterooms we have had. Would definitely stay there again, but in a regular hotel size room. Warning - if travelling in late fall or winter - Boston weather can be cold, the city wind will chill you through the warmest coats, so add layers.

"Great stay"
Great room and great location.  The club room breakfast was great.  Would have liked firmer pillows though.  All in all a great stay.  Would come back.

"Great accomodations, staff and location."
I absolutely loved this hotel in my last stay in Boston. The rooms are very small, and there was no view outside of my window. BUT, the decor is modern and well-done, and the staff could not be nicer and more helpful. The bed was super-comfly and the pillows were great. Not to mention the fact that it was spotless! Great location near bars, restaurants and shops just a few minutes away. One negative is the continental breakfast, which doesn't consist of much, but there are many breakfast options close by. I would stay here again, and recommend it to a friend.

"Location, amenities, and class!"
We chose the Fairmont Battery Wharf because we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city center in a luxurious and welcoming environment, and that's exactly what we got. The hotel is located in the far northeastern corner of Boston's North End neighborhood and is a 15+ minute walk to the nearest subway stops (North Station, Haymarket, or Aquarium). This may be a turn off to some but it also means that the property is quiet and almost every room has some sort of water view. Additionally, the hotel is perfectly located for exploring the North End's many enticing Italian eateries and several historical stops on the Freedom Trail. The hotel itself is the epitome of class, yet still had a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and willing to help with our questions and requests. Our room was well equipped with all of the things one would expect in a luxury hotel. If you like good espresso, you have to try the Nespresso. It was delicious. (The only notable omission in the room was slippers--I wanted slippers.) It is worth noting that the hotel rooms only occupy the first two floors of the two waterfront buildings, with the three floor above being private residences. The Fairmont Gold Club building (which is just slightly off the water) contains the spa and gym, as well as several more floors of hotel rooms. The only negative (and it was a big surprise) was that our room was quite noisy on Friday night due to the hotel's weekend Jazz concerts. Be forewarned that if your room is in the Sea Cloud building (where the front desk is located) and above the lobby/restaurant, your Friday and Saturday evening (9-11pm) will be noisy. My suggestion: either go downstairs and enjoy the music or watch something on TV until the music ends. I should note that Sunday night was completely quiet, so I assume that it's the same situation Sun-Thurs. A few tips: 1) sign up for the Fairmont Presidents Club upon arrival. It is free (only requires your name and email) and gets you free internet for your entire stay (normally $15/day) as well as access to the hotel's complimentary BMW 7-series car service. They will drive you anywhere you like up to 2.5 miles from the hotel--for free! 2) The car service, if you manage to snag it, eliminates the issue of the hotel's somewhat isolated location. 3) If you're heading to Logan airport after your stay call ahead and request the water taxi service, it is $10 per person and well worth it! It's cheaper than a regular taxi, way more scenic, and just as fast. All-in-all, the Fairmont Battery Wharf is a great hotel, and a pretty good value for the money (especially if you find a room at a reduced rate). This hotel is definitely out-of-the-way of the downtown hubbub, but that might be just what you're after. You can always get to the action if you want to--you just don't have to stay in the midst of it!

"Awesome Historic Hotel"
The hotel was is situated right in the middle of many historic sites, shopping centers, restraunts, and even the theatre distric. The hotel was clean, the bedding was wonderful and comfortable. The staff was amazing, from the bell men, to the waiters, to the housekeepers, and the concierge could not have been more friendly and helpful. The rooms are small like most historic hotels, but the atmosphere more than makes up for that one area.

"A great value! ADA-compliant rooms are beautiful :)"
My mother and I travel frequently to Boston for medical appointments. The Taj Boston is our home away from home. The ADA-compliant rooms are absolutely beautiful. Each stay there is like a mini-vacation. Perfect location. Elegant surroundings. Friendly, helpful staff. Fine dining. A great choice for us!

"Excellent Location"
I stayed here with my mother for 6 nights in September. Boston is a very walkable city and this hotel is perfectly located. It's at the edge of Back Bay so you are a few blocks from the trendy shopping area, but also just a long walk away from the historic section of the city (if my 70 something mother could walk it, so can you.) The hotel itself is lovely and and modern looking. The restaurant/bar is expensive (as all hotel restaurants are.) The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My room overlooked the construction across the street but I never heard any noise from it. The bathroom was spacious by any hotel bathroom standards. What I liked best about the washroom was the shelving unit with meant we didn't have to leave our things on a water counter top. It was a nice touch.

"Exquisite stay! We'll be back."
We had 4 nights in Boston recently, and the last three were spent in the Revere. In contrast to the stay in the hotel just across the street on the first night, the space was ample and well detailed, and the service was exceptional and friendly. We were right at home as soon as we arrived. We've stayed in a number of hotels in the Common neighborhood and this is at the top of our list for value and we look forward to returning!
