Tyler is an MVP

Pros: friendly staff
Cons: pool temperature, while the kids loved it, was odd
Location: Peacocks was a good place to eat, as was Hard 8 BBQ
We stayed in this hotel during my daughters soccer tournament nearby. We accidentally booked an extra room, and Tyler was immediately able to fix this no questions asked. The pool temperature was off- hot tub was cool, main pool was hot tub temperature- but the kids loved it. The hotel was fully booked, so they were short towels, but Tyler went and found just enough for us and brought them right to the pool. He made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel due to his can do/will do attitude. He even let the girls swim a bit later than the pool was open after they had played four soccer games and were dying to cool off. It is rare to find someone who really takes pride in his job and makes you feel so at home and comfortable. The fact that I remember his name weeks later proves that he was one of a kind. The room itself was very comfortable- we had a king suite. The views from the hotel were very nice as well- we saw some deer playing around behind the hotel the first night. Good location, Peacocks was a great place to eat nearby. Breakfast was typical of a hotel, but had a good selection. If were in Stephenville again, we will be back.

Good Hotel

Pros: The location
Cons: The carpet is dated, stained and ugly. The shower was very clean but also dated.
Location: It is very centrally located in Stephenville. Like I said, we got a good night's sleep and the people were very friendly. That's what counts :)
While this isn't the best hotel, there are some things that need to be updated (carpets, showers, etc.), it is a clean hotel with a very friendly staff. We got a good night's sleep and that's what counts :)

Front desk

Pros: Loved it's location. Close to main highway. Very clean and so comfortable - slept great, no aches or pains when waking. Very clean!
Cons: Lighting. I love to read and could have used brighter lights in our room.
Location: Stephenville,Texas, easy enough to get anywhere you wanted to go. In our case, downtown and some shops, Jack and Dorothy's Café, and Agave restaurant
Great service and great southern hospitality! Greeted us each time with a smile every time and were able to answer all our questions. Appreciated the local newspaper being available and cold bottled water when we went out for the day. Breakfast was more than adequate and very good. Loved your coffee!

Great Location & Staff, But Thin Walls!!

Pros: The location and staff.
Cons: Unsure of what can be done about the thin walls. But that's the only improvement that could be done.
Location: It's Stephenville... lol. Not much of anything to do around there. Grumps is across the way, great burgers, but VERY high priced.
My family (of 5) stayed here so we wouldn't have to drive back after a long day of touring Tarleton State. When we checked in - sometime between 3:30 and 4p - I asked for a Military discount since my husband was in the Army (inactive). They said that the Military discount was for active duty only. Cool - so I then asked about a discount for Tarleton, since we were touring it that day. Nicola politely adjusted the rate for the Tarleton discount. She then upgraded us to a suite since our room was not ready! AWESOMENESS! The hotel's location is great! There was nothing but land (trees and grass) around the hotel - next to it and behind it. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. All of the staff we encountered were great! The only downfall was that the walls/ceiling are very thin. The people above us were super loud and really sounded like they had a horse in their room. Did not sleep very well at all! So - my recommendation is to get the 3rd floor if at all possible.
