If you like Westport Plaza, you'll like this hotel

Pros: The atmosphere, the bedding, and the service.
Cons: The food on the breakfast buffet is pricey, and not as good as Waffle House. . . and I would have to be drunk and starving to eat at Waffle house.
Location: Westport plaza is. . . . just Google it. To much to type.
The price was wonderful, and the entire hotel staff (especially the dayshift front desk staff) were completely professional. The bedding and pillows are incredible, and the room and decor are top notch. There was a problem of some sort with the Club Lounge (we are Starwoods members) so the front desk suggested that we enjoy the restaurant's buffet - and they comped us breakfast for the entire weekend. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff does a great job - especially the dining room manager, but the food was really bad. Most of it seemed to have been cooked in a microwave (not browned, white, rawish, and unappealing. The orange juice tasted fresh squeezed, the coffee was excellent, and the bacon was really good. . . everything else should be avoided. We partied late on Saturday night so we asked for a late checkout, and they agreed to let us check out at 2:30. They have great shuttle-service, even to the metro-link station, which would allow you to go downtown, to the Delmar Loop, or Central West End without driving. Shawn H. and the rest of the front desk staffers are among the best I've seen at any Starwoods property.

Was put off by condition of the room

Cons: No free Internet, Poor breakfast
When I went to get into bed, I discovered that the comforter was quite dirty. It literally looked like someone had gotten sick on it. I called the front desk & was told that someone would be there in 15 minutes or less to change it (no apology offered). After 20-25 minutes I called again. I was told that she didn't know why it was taking so long for someone to come to the room (still no apology). Finally someone came to change the bedding. This woman was very polite and apologized several times. The new comforter she brought to put on the bed was also dirty so she had to get another one. I was also not impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. Overall just not impressed with what at first looked like a nice hotel.

I was very please with the staff and the comfort of the room.

The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful in meeting my room requirements. My room was clean and the bed was very cozy and comfortable.

I would stay here again.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: No free Internet
Nice hotel, good location. I enjoyed my stay at this Sheraton. I would definitely stay here again.
