hotel excellent, diner lacks

Pros: Cleanliness of facility. Friendly, helpful staff. View thru window/sliding glass door of the mountains. Cost and convenience to Whistler.
Cons: The bar and grill and menu and appearance could be improved upon. Updated.There
Location: the area abounds with biking trails, hiking trails, scenery of great mountains and waterways , campgrounds and RV parks. The Mountain Burger House.
On arrival The Sea to Sky Convention Centre is disguised in the middle of a strip mall . The address is on the street behind the Hotel the GPS took us to the loading dock. On entering the place was neat, clean, and had a warm ambience. The staff were excellent, gave good information and checked us in w/o incident. Friendly and confident they were. The room was excellent with the exception of the heater/cooler unit stuck in the wall. It's main capacity was to make the bed nearest it uncomfortably warm or cold . Adjustments made, we enjoyed our stay in a clean, roomy room
