No phone, no internet and no TV during my 2 day stay. They would not give a discount for lack of TV, internet, etc. because “I booked with Expedia.” Apparently I should have booked directly with the motel.

We're sorry for the inconvience the recent storm caused, leading to the internet and TV being down; it was out of our control, but we had power and heat, so we are grateful for that. Unfortunately, we are not able to apply discounts to reservations booked online, since rates are locked in.

The hotel was quiet, but our room was in a wing closest to a really busy street. We should have asked for a different location, but it was only a one nite stay. If we stay there again, we'd ask specifically for a room in a different wing. I'm sure they were trying to bunch people in on wing for the ease of their housekeeping staff. It's a large facility.
