The place was good, and staff was nice. The only problem we had was not their fault, they had a storm the night before so the rooms were still being cleaned because the power just came back on.

Travelocity was not able to get the reservation through to the hotel— making checkin impossible. When we tried cancelling the reservation was told they had to talk with hotel. After talking to the hotel for cancellation— I still got charged— and DOUBLE- because the hotel billed me separately!

The evening check in lady made the whole trip for us. we took all her suggestions and it made our evening meal so much fun, we went to see the ducks on her suggestion, and also took a swim in the pool room. when she said a mexican restaurant across the parking at your other property, we were thinking it would be just so so. but... when we open the door from the hallway and saw all the neon lights, huge crowd and fun decorations...we realized it was definitely a destination restaurant. we had such a great time. the hotel is older, but it is taken care of well for its age, would definately stay here again. we were so disappointed when the friendly gal wasn't there the next morning, but we realized that she can't be there 24-7. but her personality really made the stay fun for us.
