"Everything we wanted and hoped for"
We've been at other all-inclusives, so we know the ups and downs. Riu Palace has very few downs (wine, access to the city) and many, many pluses: spacious, lovely room, nice balcony, very decent food, wonderful staff. It's an easy venue to get around in, provides good options for dining and drinking. We especially liked the poolside fresh-cooked daily lunch offerings--fajitas, paella, burgers, etc--each day a different entre.

"This hotel was nice, but, not excellent."
The hotel was nice overall with good room sizes and quality, though, bed was firm and my back was hurting every morning, and food and services provided were very good, though, it could have been better. Food choices was ample as well as drinks. However, my last stay at Dreams Los Cabos was better. There are no pool bars at this location and you have only one breakfast choice and 2 lunch choices, though, 5 restaurants to choose from for dinner. One thing I did not care much about this hotel was the public access beach (not private) and the fact that hotel and condo's (available for purchase if anyone is interested) are at the same location. Out of 4 buildings, 2 are condo's that are rented or sold, while the other 2 buildings are for hotel guest accommodation. Pool area is shared. Good hotel for family with kids as there is kids club, though, again, Los Cabos location provided more amenities for the children. I do still recommend this hotel overall, but, I think you also have better choices at Puerto Vallarta location for all inclusive hotel like this one.

"would you marry me ?"
I took my special person with me and had planed to propose to her on this 3 day trip. The hotel ,the grounds and the restaurants were exceptional. Clean, beautiful and delicious . The only problem was that there were too many kids ( 12 and under) around. Don't get me wrong ,I like kids but I thought this was an all adult resort. staff was very very friendly and kind and gracious. Top of the line liquor.

"Very friendly staff."
All inclusive restaurants and bars were always available, and provided quality products. Grounds were kept up well as were the rooms. Many daily beach activities were available, quality night time entertainment. Sports bar had early morning coffee and tea.

"Excellent service staff"
Awesome staff, very clean well kept property. We were disappointed with the buffet, because everyday, every meal was exactly the same. I stayed at Riu in Cabo and the buffet there was much better. Lack of internet was a big disapointment for me, the price they want to receive internet in the room is ridiculous. Other than that. pretty much happy with the rest of the experience

"Beautiful hotel in a safe area"
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hard Rock. The facilities were amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was great. There are only a few things I would suggest to the management to improve customer service: - Encourage employees to go the extra mile; the pool bar ran out of Cognac and didn't bother to restock it for the rest of my stay. This is something small, but it is the small details that make a good resort a great one. - Have servers present comment cards with drinks/meals. I had some of the best servers and some of the worst servers at the hotel. I was surprised how inconsistent it was. If servers presented comment cards it would give management a way to reward those employees who do go the extra mile. - Get rid of the service charge on the "free" resort credit. If it is free, let it be free. Otherwise call it "discounted rates" on tours, excursions, etc. - Make sure beach warning flags are updated. During my stay the flags were red on one part of the beach, yellow on the other. I wasn't sure if it was safe to swim or not. - Have managers walking around and asking guests about their experience. This would be a great way to solve small problems, quickly and prevent lists like these. Overall, though, these are small things and I was pleased with my stay.

"All inclusive for the most part"
Had a great time at this resort, the resort was well maintained, facilities were clean, staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of American comforts in a Mexico setting, activities were plenty and fun. Would have preferred food be more available as there were several hours a day where the all inclusive bracelet didn't have open snack or restaurants, and would have preferred our air conditioner to get cooler, our parents room stayed cooler than ours. But overall great value
