We travel a lot and I have never been so afraid at a property. At midnight, a man in the room next to us begin to screen expletives and saying he was going to kill someone. Then there were loud horrifying screams. I was afraid to move and my daughter eventually ran to the bathroom and cried and hid. This is one of those hotels that used to be a motel with windows that open into the hall. I could see the shadow of someone walking back and forth screaming….threatening to kill someone. I was afraid to make a noise or call the front desk. Based on previous reviews, they just give noise complaints a slap on the wrist. I worried if the guy found a noise complaint was made, he would hurt us….So we did not call right away. The yelling “what the F is wrong with you” and “I am going to kill you” went on for over an hour. Eventually we saw no movement outside our room and quickly ran out of our room toward the lobby. We ran into a hotel employee close by who was calling the police. She appeared to be the only one working. We sat in the lobby until the police arrived. The overnight staff (who was so kind and supportive when we were all so scared) was kind and gave us a room far away from our old room no questions asked. She said there were multiple noise complaints for the room. I will NEVER stay in a room with glass windows from the hallway looking into a room again. Even with curtains closed, gaps remain. I am still shook up from this experience 24 hours later.

Pool closed at 9 instead of 10 which was nice. Building was a bit run down.

Hotel rooms were very dirty and disgusting. I found multiple black hairs on the bathroom towels and in the bed. The room was humid and moist.

Request a room in front of the hotel, instead of the back. Rooms located in the back are near the maintenance areas. Back entrance didn’t feel secure, as I am a solo, female traveler.
