HGI Shreveport has a GREAT staff. BUT, the hotel is dated, and there was a message on our room phone for a prior guest that it was time to check out NOW! I don’t think the bedsheets had been changed. Location was somewhat isolated from quality restaurants so we ate at the hotel off their limited menu which was okay. The staff was wonderful.

I would like everyone to know not to stay at this hotel they have numerous issues. I went to take a shower and there where numerous star fish in my tub. That was very disgusting. And they charge for breakfast here .Some of there TVs doesn't work and the air goes on and off by itself.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Our breakfast is cook to order, and is not a grab and go buffet or continental setup which is why the service has a charge. The issues in your room have since been addressed. This experience is not a typical one for our hotel, and we would like to ensure a much higher quality stay should you give us another chance.

This hotel has not had a working pool in almost 2 years. There is nothing on the website about this and my family needed an indoor pool. The room was smoky and the staff is not very nice. Don’t stay here!!

I apologize for the issue with the pool. We are awaiting a new heater and lifts for the pool and when we receive the equipment the pool will once again be open.

Had to call for extra towels only to be told I had to come down to get them. No hot water, maintenance had to turn up the water heater, biggest thing was the person checking in ahead of me paid $35 less!! I thought Travelocity caught things like that.

Thank you for staying with us. I apologize for the Hot Water issues, we had a circulating pump go out unexpectedly that caused the hot water issue. Also, we only have one person at night on the desk and they have to stay in the desk area. I appreciate you letting us know and we hope you stay with us again in the future.
