"Now my favorite Seattle hotel."
Lovely, magical hotel that transports you back in time but still maintains modern conveniences. Elegant but not stuffy. Tons of pillows. Comfy beds. The bell hop was particularly careful to advise me that I was downtown and there are many apartment and office buildings from which people could observe me. Good advice! Parking is pricey and you must have a valet take your car. However, they do provide transportation within a 2 mile radius and that was provided promptly, pleasantly and comfortably. If you're not fond of ghosts, request a room other than one on the 4th floor. Rumor has it the place has several. Will definitely be my first choice for any return trips to Seattle.

My daughter and I stayed two nights, several days apart, and both stays exceeded our expectations. This was our first visit to Seattle, and the location was close enough to everything we wanted to see to make it very easy to get around - 3 blocks from the light rail and easy walking distance to the Pike Place Market area. Our "city view" room had a small balcony with a great view of Smith Tower and toward the waterfront, and the outside noise level was not excessive with the window open. The front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful. They were able to switch our room for the second night of our stay to accommodate a family member, and they kept our luggage after checking out, so we could go sightseeing before our flight left that night. The breakfast room was comfortable and well-stocked. The character of the hotel is more like an inn - take the stairs to your floor (when you're not carrying luggage) to fully appreciate that it's not like most hotels.

"Fantastic location"
We needed a place for one night on the outskirts of Seattle during a portion of our trip. We randomly chose Best Western Edmonds Harbor Inn. From the moment we walked into the lobby we knew we made the right choice. The entire place smelled awesome, very welcoming. The desk staff was friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The desk staff suggested a seafood restaurant (Arnie's) a block away and it, too, was perfect. Right on the beach. The continental breakfast the next morning was the most complete I'd ever seen! This was absolutely the best random hotel choice we could have made.

"Adventure!"
Staying here makes me feel like a visit to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.  Great decor, very well appointed rooms, and the bar includes a proper absinthe service.  Staff was extremely helpful.  Great place to stay when you're actually there long enough to enjoy the room, not just crash.
