Only ever saw one reception staff member smile the entire time - made to feel like an inconvenience. Had to pay $25 for on site parking owned by the hotel (after already paying $350 a night) is awful - no excuse but an opportunity to extort more money from guests. Charging additional fees to ‘deliver food’ on an in room dining menu, therefore making guests have to leave their room and pick up their food, if I wanted to come to the restaurant I wouldn’t order room service. The exterior is old, tired and dated. Looking up at the balconies you can see mould and stains on the walls - needs to be repainted. There is no seating on their balcony, making it useless space - a shame given the view. The pool area aesthetic was dated and unpleasant. The spa water was dirty and cold and the bubbles didn’t work. The lifts were cramped and crowded, used the lifts multiple times and the left one seemed to be the only one working. Would never opt to stay there again. A 3 star hotel at best with a 5 star price. Only redeeming feature is the view. If another hotel built in that area they would go out of business. I think the owners know this and have given up.
