"Always a pleasure to stay here, once you go first class, it's difficult to go back to coach!"
Our absolute #1 reason to come back to Savannah! Our first trip to the Hamilton-Turner Inn was on our honeymoon, but come back as often as we can to celebrate our anniversaries.

"Beautiful hotel, walkable to all downtown attractions"
The Bohemian hotel is absolutely beautiful. The room was lovely with very modern decorations and amenities. The rooftop bar Rocks had a beautiful view of the riverfront. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Highly recommend this hotel"
I highly recommend staying at this beautiful B&B. The staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Savannah. The only minor complaint I have was that the bed squeaked and it was kinda of annoying for someone like myself that tosses and turns. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very attentive.

"East Bay Inn and Savannah"
My wife and I recently stayed at this great old Inn. The location was great, just across the street from the riverwalk, and around 5 blocks from the City Market center. The room was clean and full of character. Wood floors, exposed brick, antique furnishings. The staff was warm and inviting. Each evening they have complementary wine and snacks in the lobby, a great way to meet other guest's and share experiences. Breakfast is also included. Our room cost $less then it would have cost to stay across the street! Restaurants - I didn't eat at the hotel, but some other guest's that we met at one of the wine receptions said it was great. I recommend that if you can, you have to try a place called Mrs. Wilks, this place was the bomb. Only open 11am to 2pm, Monday thru Friday, and you have to get there early, a line forms quick for this place, but it is worth the wait. One thing about Savannah (and the south in general) is that the people are friendly and proud of their city. Ask a local and most times they won't stear you wrong, that's how we found Mrs. Wilks place! We were also told to avoid Paula Dean's place, apparenty she is too busy to keep up with her restaurant... she is even getting into the furniture business now. One more place to try, A martini bar called Jenni and Friends, Great place and reasonable! 100 different Martinis, located on Bull street about 5 blocks up from the riverfront. Jenni works day's and Mary Ann at night, a real fun place. Try a caramel apple, or a PB&J martini... Cheers!

"Elegant historic ambiance"
I knew from the moment we arrived we made the right choice. Loved the grand staircase! Room was cahrming, original wood floors, clawfoot tub and black and white checkerboard tile floor in bath, comfy bed. Bell staff noticed we had our bikes in the back of our van and offered to store them for us, suggested a route for an early morning ride. One reason we chose this hotel was its proximity to Starbucks, the meeting place for the family friendly ghost tour. Close to restaurants, shops, everything!
