"HOT PICK!!!!!"
The most welcoming, friendly and accommodating hotel I've stayed in lately. It is the only Native American owned property in Santa Fe and the ambiance and décor reflects just that. This is my second stay and I'm ready to book next year.

"Neat place, good location."
We stopped here on a two day motorcycle trip to Colorado from Texas. We read great reviews and decided to give it a try. We were not disspapointed. Nicely appointed room, and short walk to the Plaza. Breakfast in the morning was great and the staff was friendly.

"Nice place. a little out of the way, but they make up for it w/ free transportation to town. BUT: Gotta get hi-def TVs and movie channels!!"
Again, good place and nice staff. But the TVs must be two decades old and the absence of movie channels is like a hotel from the mid-80's.

"Excellent location in Santa Fe"
As other reviewers have noted, the best thing about this hotel is its location in the center of Santa Fe, in easy walking distance to churches, museums, galleries and restaurants, and a very short drive to Museum Hill. If you have a car the hotel's parking lot is handy and we never had a problem finding a space. The broad hotel portico, with tables and chairs and friendly bar service is very nice. The rather grand old-world lobby is pleasant. Our room, listed as a Deluxe King, was smaller than we expected for the price and had a somewhat awkward step-up bathroom, but it was nicely furnished, very clean, pleasant, bright and quiet - very comfortable. WiFi service was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

"Value and comfort!"
The stay with Quality Inn was smooth and the motel was clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and nice, too. Each morning the fed us whatever we wanted and it really saved us a lot of money! The motel is located directly across from a Denny's if we ever chose to spend $20 to $30 on breakfast. The pool was refreshing as well.

"Wonderful room and staff..restaurant food average."
We found the Eldorado a wonderful place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful and the facility was very nice. The location is great. Our only suggestion would be to improve the food. We had the dry aged rib eye. It was tough and tasteless. The previous night we ate in the lounge. The burger was good but the steak tacos were dry and tasteless. Five Stars if not for restaurant food quality. So, stay at the Eldorado but eat at the many wonderful restaurants on the square. Tia Sophia and Blue Corn were both excellent.

"Nice stop over location"
While the front desk was not overly friendly the room was very clean. I did have one issue I was uncomfortable with and that was the window in my room didn't close tightly and the screen was bent. However there was a bar in the window to keep someone from breaking in from the outside ground level. Because the window didn't close all the way there was traffic noise but the street was quiet after about 11pm. Breakfast was fair.

"Great Place to Stay"
Very comfortable place to stay, although about 15 minutes away from Los Alamos proper. Close to Bandlier National Monument and other parks. I've stayed here about 30 days over the previous 3 months and have never encountered a problem. Internet is very reliable (although not wireless in the rooms -- wireless in the lobby). [Internet is unreliable on windy days at Best Western -- Los Alamos. They acknowledge this is a problem.] I get very good cell service here (Sprint). Business Center has 1 computer & laser printer -- and when the printer needed toner cartridge, the Front Desk staff let me print from their office printer. Hot breakfast is very well monitored by dedicated staffperson. Downsides are no pool and few nearby restaurants.

"Okay but kind of smoky and noisy."
The beds were fine and everything was clean (if rather spartan) but the whole hotel (including the room) smelled vaguely of smoke. This isn't surprising given that it's connected to a rather smoky casino. The biggest complaint I had is that the walls were pretty thin and people were walking down the hallways (presumably back from the casino) at all hours of the night and were rather loud. Usually I'd turn on a fan to block out that sort of noise but there was none in the room. Also, while the person checking me in told me it came with free breakfast (and gave me two vouchers), that wasn't actually true unless you signed up for the casino's players program. By the time I realized that fact, breakfast was almost over and it was too late.
