This place wasn't horrible, but it felt like it should have been a little better for costing over a hundred bucks a night. It was mostly clean, but there was a rotting spot on the baseboard in the bathroom that was super gross. My biggest complaint is that they didn't have enough parking for everyone staying there. We returned late from visiting my brother one night, and there were no acceptable places to park left. There would have been one, accept someone parked in a manner that took up two spaces. That left the handicapped spot, and one in front of the dumpster. We called to complain and ask for assistance; we called because there was no one actually at the front desk. The worker who answered told us to park in the handicapped spot. I would not do this, because I happen to know that a hotel proprietor does not have the authority to allow this, and we could still have gotten towed. Thus, we had to take the spot in front of the dumpster. This was not acceptable to me, because the spot blocked the ability for someone to open the door to the dumpster area. furthermore, my car only fit in the spot too close to the next car to open my driver's side door, and I have a compact car (Ford Focus). I stayed at this hotel because it was the closest to my brother's house, but I think next time I will drive a little further for a more decent hotel.

Pros: nothing
Cons: Poor lighting, walls unattractive and needs paint, morning breakfast
Location: SF and sight seeing
Air Condition not working, requested ground floor and was stuck with 2nd floor then needed to move to grond the next day.

Staff was very friendly.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, friendly staff, clean
This was a great bargain for a weary lone businessmen on his way home from a long week of business in the Silicon Valley. The rates were excellent. The staff was very courteous and friendly. They were especially helpful with showing me the vast arrays of different restaurants menues that delivered takeout. The room was clean, quite and everything worked like it should. My side table light had a burned out bulb and the bulb was changed 10 minutes after I called the front desk. It also did not smell of smoke like other motel rooms that the othermotels claim are smoke free. They offer a complimentary continental breakfast and it's a good deal if you want to get where you are going quickly since the freeway is 200 feet away. ***** Five star rating
