Excellent hotel! I stayed at the lodges which are wonderful! The vaulted ceiling and fireplace made it cozy on a cold, drizzly day. The breakfast was amazing! I have never ordered off a menu at a hotel!

I loved the trees around the outside and the quiet. There was a little ant issue, but I reported it when I checked out. So i assume they'll fix it.

THEY SHOW A PICTURE OF THE PROPERTY IN THE Add but move you across the street to a different location, the bathroom door opens inward hits the toilet . the only way you can close the door you had to step into the shower to close the door so you can set on the toilet. the fireplace did not have a screen in front of it they had taken out the glass that covers the front of the gas fire place. I told the manager , she said all of the rooms are the same so it wouldn't do any good to change our room. I was raised in pacific grove until 1965 when I graduated from high school there. very deceiving advertisement of the property. ill never stay there again.

The room was lovely. Above average. Comfortable bed and nicely decorated. The only complaint would be the balcony area. There was a broken railing post and the top of the railing needed cleaning. We sat out there and enjoyed our wine but noticed the area needed a little care. Also, the breakfast grab and go bags - not great. In room coffee - terrible. Also, pet waste bag dispensers could be provided.

Our room was very small and cold. There was a wall heater however it was shooting right at the bed. The place loos like it was really nice at one time. The hotel is pretty run down, needs a lot of repair work.
