You cannot beat the hotel location. The Colosseum is right on your doorstep. The concierge was helpful. I saw other reviews about the noise from the club downstairs. We stayed at the weekend and heard nothing. The room/ac was cool (we were there in the recent heatwave). My only complaint was that our hotel organized driver did not show up. The hotel sent a message saying this was our fault. Let’s practice customer service, folks. However, the first time we tried to reserve car service, they forgot to arrange it and I had to contact them. Given that, who is more likely to have made the mistake??? We also spent 10 minutes looking for someone to pay the daily room tax. In brief, great location, but unreliable.

Boutique hotel at the colosseum...

Pros: Priced nicely, staff very friendly.
Cons: Air conditioning could be better.
Location: Many guided tours in area, Metro station close by...
Great location for a short stay. East Metro access, walkable to a number of ancient sites and tours. Staff works very hard to make your stay memorable. Room was large and well equipped. HVAC was a little tricky to maintain as Europe is very energy conscious.
