"This hotel is fabulous"
I think the hotel is a bit pricey for a family vacation, but we used our HHonors points to book our 4-night stay. The hotel is fabulous. The room was exactly as described: it was large, clean, and quite comfortable. The bed was the best I have ever had in a hotel. The staff was nice and always helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful. The shuttle into the city was convenient and always on time. Being a HHonors gold member, we had access to the Colosseo Lounge where the nightly snacks and alcohol were delicious and plentiful. The free breakfast buffet was tremendous. On our second and third night, we were given access to the Imperial Lounge on the 7th floor. The views are spectacular. The food selection was varied and so plentiful that you couldn't sample it all. Again, the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were varied and endless. We went to Rome to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and we took two friends with us. It was their first trip to Rome, and they were blown away with the hotel. Words cannot express how pleased we were with the hotel and our trip overall. Bravo, Rome Cavalieri!

"A little oasis just outside the bustle of the city"
We loved everything about this hotel from the pool ( our savior during those 100+ degree days) to the super friendly staff. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Awesome showers. The hotel itself is a bit out of the way, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, or you can take a taxi or the hotel shuttle. The wi-fi in the rooms was iffy, but it worked perfectly down in the lobby. We really loved this hotel, and we give our stay 5 stars!

"Hotel worth the money"
This hotel was close to the vatican, could see it from our balcony. Nice included breakfast and staff. The shower was very european, no lip around the base of the shower so water went everywhere in the bathroom . Air conditioning system not so good. Wouldnt recommend in the heat of the summer but we stayed in May.

"Great hotel in a great location"
This trip to Rome was sort of a two week treat for myself and recent high school graduate son. It was also intended to provide a small element of exposure to his Italian heritage and this beautiful city. That being said, the Napoleon Hotel is in a key location within walking distance to sites like the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. Public transportation is at the front door and Termini Station is about a ten minute walk. The Napoleon more than met all of our creature comfort needs. But the most important key element of our experience was the very helpful, personable, and professional staff. A great home away from home.

"Very helpful staff, mediocre facility"
The location was great, very close to the train and subway stations and walkable to many Roman attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, printing out our train tickets, and giving recommendations. The room was clean but small (which I understand is typical), the shower was very small, and the beds were uncomfortable.
