I wanted to like this place, but I just couldn't overcome all the draw backs. In my opinion, this hotel should not be represented as a 4 star property. Things to consider before booking. The location is remote. Aran Park is not a hotel that allows for easy access to the city of Rome. The hotel shuttle service is not sufficient, nor is it free. It is easily 30 euros either way, or more at peak times via taxi. The bathroom was never cleaned properly. The shower had mold in the corner and the walls had specks of something gross on them. And hot water was only available some of the time. The staff did not seem up to the task of providing help or service, and often gave the impression that they didn't have time for you.

We are sorry that our location is not exactly what you were looking for in terms of proximity to the city centre. Many guests love our location because it is set away from the bustling city life, yet close enough that a short trip 15 minutes takes them to many popular spots. Near our hotel stop the buses 721 and 762. both of them reach Laurentina metro station. The cost of the ticket is 1,50€. Guests can reach Rome city center also by the shuttle. It has a cost of 5€ per person and per way. Regarding the cleaning of your room, at Barceló we strive to provide total confidence in this area being fully aware that hygiene and cleanliness are aspects of major importance for our guests to feel 100% comfortable in our hotels, for a future ocasion please do not hesitate to contact our réception desk to point out any service imperfection, the team will be swift in addressing the issue and correct any situation that is not in accordance with our established standards. About the water temperature in the shower. We checked the matter, specifically in the room where you stayed, and confirmed that the water heaters are working properly. We believe the situation you experienced has to do with the device’s operation, since it takes approximately 10 minutes for additional water to be heated after it runs out. We are sorry you did not feel attended enough, the team works daily to provide the best possible service to let our guests feel most valued and genuinely cared for.
