Nothing unique about the property…a rather ordinary hotel. The Wi-Fi access was terrible which was a big surprise especially for a Marriott hotel.

I loved the staff. They were friendly fun, and helpful. Definately reccomend this hotel to everyone who visits downtown richmond. Great rates!

1. Outlet in bathroom did not work 2. Coffee maker did not work 3. No remote to TV so no television 4. Phone did not work, had to use cell phone to call desk to get them to fix room phone 5. Google chrome does not work so the most popular search engine does not function 6. 2:30 am drunks pounding on the door I had to call the desk for towels, phone, WiFi & other issues the afore mentioned they semi resolved, the others they did not. I have over a million points with the IHG group and have stayed in 4 different motel chains in the past 7 weeks and this by far was the worst of my experiences. I will never stay in downtown Richmond again and will probably NEVER choose a Marriot as my lodging again.

Pros: close to everything that I wanted to be close to
Cons: a way for the bathroom light to be not so bright when you don't need the full light effect
Location: close to numerous bars and restaurants
the staff was very helpful and made my experience exactly as it should have been
